NOMA Beach at Redfish Reviews
We had a wonderful experience. After reading some other reviews we realized it might be hit or miss. It was a hit. We were welcomed by Michelle, choosing inside or outside seating. Even though it was Saturday September 2nd, we opted for outside. With a fan we never even broke a sweat, the weather was perfect at 6PM. The views of the water are breathtaking. David, our server, started is off with a martini and a water melon based drink. The bar tender matched the perfect flavors....read full review

NOMA Beach at Redfish is a restaurant that provides a unique venue with a refreshing breeze and stunning views of Biscayne Bay. Located inside Matheson Hammock Park, this modern coastal-Italian outpost is ideal for date nights and special occasions. The menu includes a variety of items, such as fresh and well-prepared salmon, branzino, shrimp Diablo, and the house's signature meatballs, which are wrapped in slow-braised ragù. The Hanging Board, featuring prosciutto di Parma, Marcona almonds, and fig jam, makes for a delightful start. The fritto misto, with semolina-crusted calamari and shrimp served with avocado aioli, remains a popular choice.
The service is attentive, with staff described as friendly and helpful. Regulars appreciate the event pros managing the rooftop like a private club. While peak hours can test patience, the overall experience is enjoyable, enhanced by live music and a lovely atmosphere. The ambiance is noted as pleasant, especially being near the beach, making it a great spot for diners.
Chef-owner Donatella Arpaia focuses on seafood and Mediterranean comfort food, with dishes such as Stone Fruit Caprese and rigatoni in a broken-meatball ragù. The wine and cocktail selections are praised, including crowd-pleasers like the Aperol spritz and espresso martini. Some guests have mentioned that the menu and pricing have changed, with prices now averaging $31–$50 per person before tax and tip, which is reasonable for the quality and location.
NOMA Beach at Redfish is a hidden gem that is worth visiting again, particularly for its outdoor bar seating and breathtaking sunset views. Reservations are recommended, and the rooftop often hosts special events, making it a lively spot to enjoy oysters and cocktails. With its spectacular setting and delightful food, it’s a place where guests can relax and experience the best of Miami.
