Today was my first time walking into RC Café and I was unfortunately turned away by the staff. When I arrived, there was a party of about 20 people there to celebrate an occasion, but there were plenty of other available tables. When I asked the staff if I could seat myself to a table, they said that they were busy with the large party and unable to serve me. For a Friday morning, I would think a restaurant would know better to have more staff available, especially if they are open for breakfast. This is completely unprofessional and left a bad impression of the establishment. As a Coral Gables resident, I will share my experience with my friends in the area and suggest not go here. Thankfully, I went to Cafe Demetrio next door and enjoyed a delicious meal. ** Edited for owner's reply** I'm sorry, but if you are a restaurant that will only serve 20 people at a time, then why would you have more tables and chairs not in use? Spacing was not an issue, but a lack of enough staff to accommodate other patrons. If the restaurant was closed for a party, why was there no sign on the outside? I wanted to try your food because of the positive reviews, but this experience left a disappointing impression and I will not go back.

A hidden gem in the Coral Gables Financial district. We almost missed it and I am so glad we didn’t! There is so much care and detail in the food quality. Just look at the tiny fries on my Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise is made in house. For $16 everything you see in the photo was included. We went on a Saturday morning- a small flow of guests with bossa nova music playing the background, a great place to bring your laptop and plan out your week- away from the Miami noise and crowds.

Was the 1st experience at the RC Cafe and really surprised about the TOP quality in the service, delicious food from appetizers to main courses, next time I will try the desert no doubt… the ambiance is nice, quiet and nicely decorated… i definitely recommend this place for good food and enjoying a good moment.
