Went on a Saturday night with a reservation through Rezy. What a great experience! The band that night was killing. The drinks like the lychee cocktail were so fresh and tasty. The paper plane was exactly as it should be. We ordered the steak frites (rare) and they actually came out rare! They were divine. We also ordered the lobster ravioli and it was so soft and fresh as well, with a great butter garlic sauce. The brownie dessert with the ice cream was excellent as well, and clearly homemade and the perfect warmth. Would recommend here! If you have Amex, you also get a discount on Rezy reservations so don't forget to pay with your Amex!

The Globe used to be one of my favorite spots in Coral Gables for its atmosphere, service, and great music, but my recent experience was very disappointing. The music is no longer the same, the clientele has changed, and the overall vibe has lost the quality it once had.
The service was also lacking. I asked the waitress for a lemon and she never brought it, which shows a lack of attention to basic customer needs.
On top of that, they didn’t know how to prepare Japanese martini ,food was not up to par. The churrasco was dry and had no flavor, far from the quality they used to offer.
Overall, nothing like the service and quality they had before. I truly hope they can recover what once made them special.

This was a repeat visit as my first visit was so enjoyable. Don't know if it's because it was late on a Friday night, but service was really slow. Hostess was even pretty cold and not very hospitable. We almost walked out after ordering because food was taking THAT long. Maybe they were under staffed with servers or they had too many people ordering? DJ Peter Melchor was playing some great, enjoyable Disco/Retro throwbacks, and the place was packed. When food finally arrived, it was really tasty gourmet quality, value priced especially given the quality, and hot! Had Pear Ravioli & Black & Black Spring Rolls which both were exquisite and spring rolls weren't greasy. I really love the neoclassical art on the walls and chandeliers which really contribute to a unique dining experience! Slow service notwithstanding, possibly because of the late night hour or different staff, I'd still highly recommend this restaurant, just have ALOTA patience to get your order served if you come late night when it's busy, and parking CAN be a bit hard to find.
Parking: Be patient. Study your options beforehand or pray to the Parking Gods to find street parking quickly lol.

Starting with an Aperol Spritz ?and Negroni ? on the rocks ! The Aperol wasn’t too sweet, and the Negroni had a very summerish classic taste…both top?notch!
As the first round of cocktails was so good, I had to go for a Moscow Mule (my favorite drink). Mixed better than I have ever tasted before…EVER…and this is because they used the best liquor, Canaima Gin???!
Finally, I was delighted with the very best Espresso Martini ?☕️I have tried in my life??So creamy, smooth, and strong coffee vibes, perfectly blended with vodka, hitting all the right tunes… yes you thought it right, just like Sabrina Carpenter’s ☀️ summer classic ???hit, Espresso! Adding to the Espresso Martini, as if it wouldn’t have been enough caffeine doses ?, the Bailey’s on the rocks was creamy and smooth.
The girls at the bar were super patient as the place was packed and they never took the smile off their faces.
The lounge bar area has an italian ?️??️ style, another reason why you feel as if you were out of town.

Overall, it was a great 1st experience with minor setbacks that I would say depends on the person. They had latin jazz, which was very loud, but my husband enjoyed it. The food was TERRIFIC but it took about 30-35 min. to get it. There is only 1 waitress for the whole ballroom dining area. She does the best she can, and is super sweet, but they need more servers if they want to keep their customers b/c the place fills up fast! The drinks are fast and terrific also!
I would recommend it but not if you have any food allergies...and be prepared to wait a while. Lol and it is street parking!
