Broccoli cashew burrito and vegan chai cookie were excellent. Staff is really knowledgeable on dietary restrictions and menu is clearly marked

They didn’t have the Vegan Rolls so I ordered the Broccoli Cashew Butter Quinoa Burrito instead. Reminded me of a super delicious casserole in a wrap. $15.50. I would definitely order again. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-30

Great place to relax after a day out in nature. They have clearly marked vegan options and a wide variety of drinks. The vegan roll tasted great. The portion is a bit small for the price, but it’s also one of the only proper meals you can get in the area. I will definitely return

After a morning swim excursion nearby, I was looking for a cozy spot to grab a bite and unwind — and Tea House 650 Cafe was the perfect choice. Located just a few minutes’ walk from the waterfront, this place feels like a hidden gem. The cafe is housed in what looks like a converted home, which gave it a charming, nostalgic vibe that reminded me of the small-town cafes I used to visit back in New Jersey. Inside, it’s laid-back and inviting, with a “seat yourself” atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. In addition to a full cafe menu, they also sell a lovely selection of loose-leaf teas and tea accessories — great if you’re a tea lover looking to take a little something home. I ordered the avocado toast, an iced pumpkin chai latte, and a scone with coconut, pineapple, and white chocolate. The toast was creamy and flavorful (though I personally would’ve liked a bit more crunch), the latte was perfectly spiced and refreshing, and the scone? Easily my favorite — still slightly warm in the center and bursting with tropical flavor. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I chose to sit out on the back porch and enjoyed a peaceful moment in the sunshine — a great way to decompress after a busy activity-filled morning. If you’re in Crystal River and want something local, relaxing, and delicious, I highly recommend stopping by Tea House 650. I’ll definitely be returning on future visits!

We were a big group. Our tables were dirty and sticky. No one cleaned it up from a previous guest, so we did it by ourselves. Two orders were dismissed. My daughter got none of the orders until the end of the day , but the group can't wait for her, so they packed the order in a rush, so she was supposed to eat it on the bus. The manager apologized, but did not give any complimentary. All joy was ruined. The soup was so salty, many people felt an upset stomach after. Just for your info an avocado sandwich is a 1 pc of bread with mashed avocado and small pieces of tomato will cost you $8.75. Many of us were so disappointed. :-(

Update: And the BEST chicken salad sandwich I've ever had. For real!

Beautiful small business. Kind people working here, lots of different tea options, vegan options(grateful for! ), cute tea towels from Alice's Cottage.

I visit here with my parents as part of my birthday week and to explore somewhere new I haven't been to in Florida. I love to come back here when I can maybe in April or May.

Amazing place with outside seating. Staff is great and super friendly. Their cashew quinoa burrito is the bomb and their bean brownie is super tasty too. They were one of the few places that had dishes that fitted my dietary restrictions (vegetarian with allergy to eggs and dairy)

The service was great 👍🏽👍🏽. They have both inside and outdoor dining areas in the front porch and back porch. We sat in the back porch with our fur baby 🐶, very nicely kept outdoor area. The inside is very clean and has a nice warm home feeling, bathroom is also very clean. I ate the quiche with the chicken and rice soup it was all sooo delicious served nice and hot and tasted fresh. Also had the Pumpkin scone, and a Dates and Pecan scone all scones were made fresh and still warm when I ate them. To drink I had the hot Pumpkin Chai latte. Everything that I ate was delicious, and fresh very comforting.
