Tacos were excellent. We got rained out of our hike and decided to visit the various taquerias in the Dade City and Zephyrhills area. So we went around and ordered one chicken and one carnitas at each place. El Patron had the best tacos of the 4 places we tried. Tender carne and excellent tortillas.
The absolute best tacos I've ever had. Stopped there on our way home from Orlando and I will now be making a trip back from Spring Hill to Dade City just for these tacos! And the staff was so friendly, really treated us like old friends.
I've been driving by this restaurant for over a year meaning to stop in. I finally made the time to do so yesterday and was quite pleased.It's the type of restaurant you'd expect to find in small local town with the owner greeting you and asking what he can get for you.Not much to look at, but like I said it's a local place like you might find in a Mexican village.
