“Usually the service is excellent by pool. As this is a luxury resort. The servers are quick and friendly and also check on you for additional items.However on the 3rd day, it took an hour to get a host after brining it to attention to staff and then I had to speak to the supervisor on duty.I was finally able to get a server. She seemedvery rude and never checked on us for additional items. (I hope it was not a racial discrimination)Despite of my not so good experience with the server, the food was delicious. I Highly recommend ordering by pool.“

“Kathy absolutely saved the day with her customer service, she went above and beyond for her customer and assisted me with retrieving my phone in the chair abyss of the side of the booth. Honestly the entire team went above and beyond asking what they could bring or do to help. Well worth coming to an establishment like this if they are willing to venture out of the restaurant biz and go into carpentry for a lost phone! Once again thank you kathy and team! “I can't fully express how exceptional this restaurant is. I organized a sunset cruise for a group of 24 guests, but unfortunately, they didn’t have the provisions (food) we were expecting. In a moment of panic, I contacted the owner, Jackson, and explained the situation, hoping for a backup plan within 30 minutes (sounds impossible 🥵). Not only did he agree to accommodate us, he immediately began preparing for us. Once we arrived, he and his team welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality. Our table was beautifully set, complete with a customized and printed menu just for us. He chose 3 dinner options for our party and actually had custom printed menus! Wow!! Drinks, salad, and bread were flowing within minutes, and the food? Absolutely divine—without a doubt the best Italian cuisine we’ve ever had. To top it off, there was a live performer who was fantastic! Totally unexpected, we had no clue there was entertainment but such another great treat. She engaged with everyone, took song requests, and even invited guests to join her to sing. The entire experience, from the atmosphere to the impeccable service, was beyond anything we could have hoped for. Jackson even served our table personally and jumped in to assist his team, going the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and special. He continued to check in and make sure we were ok and had everything we needed and accommodated every single request ❤️ I am incredibly grateful for everything. Jackson and his staff turned what could have been a stressful situation into an unforgettable evening. This special group of oncology nurses truly deserved a memorable night, and thanks to you, we got exactly that. Thank you so much for making it an experience we will never forget! 🥰“

All of the reviews I've read on this place is what made me come here except for the ridiculously entitled people who complain about having to wait an extra 10 minutes. To attack a business because they're busy and they're doing their best to get you a seed is selfish and shows how much you think the world revolves around you. I wish they had an app that you can review the reviewer. I hope you get stuck in traffic for the next month. I hope the next time you have to crap in public The person that's in the bathroom before you has constipation. “We had a lunch on a sunny afternoon. There is a section of the restaurant with sand and high table, with a view of the canal and the boats passing by. I also had the chance to see 2 stingrays jumping out of the water. The meal was very good. The service and size of the plates were generous. The server was nice and polite.“

“We just finished with our first visit here and we will definitely be back.. we started with a dozen raw which were very clean just a little small wife had fried catfish and I had blackened Mahi mahi.. of course we shared all and everything was awesome wife even liked the coleslaw and she is very picky with that. We had Brittney as a waitress very friendly and personable. The only thing we didn’t like here was the fact that they charge you for using a credit card and during this day and age everybody uses a card which means the owner makes a killing off of just that charge in itself but overall great experience and again we will be back for sure“

“Freddie’s is a well-equipped a bar for sports enthusiasts: More than a dozen large screens can be tuned to multiple sporting events. As a bar, it had a limited but satisfying beer and liquor selection but offsets that lack of variety with high quality food. The wings are amazing, and there are lots of fried seafood, salads, sandwiches and burgers, all fresher and tastier than you’d expect. This is also a no frills bar for locals, a true neighborhood hangout worth getting to know even if you don’t live in the neighborhood.“

Bartender can’t even hear our order! The music that is played reminds me of strip clubs I use to go to in Miami! I’m from Miami. The locals older generation from Plantation don’t listen to that style of music. I understand it’s a business that’s drumming new business but it’s pushing the regulars out.“

I ordered the chicken marsala - very tender chicken in their tasty mushroom marsala sauce. Their standard Sicilian chicken soup is excellent as well.“
