Hmm where do i start? 1. i was subjected to a 2 hour wait after making reservation and arriving 10 minutes before with all attendees. we get in and waiter almost immediately approached she was fast. The music put me in the mind of baby making.. like i was out with friends trying to catch a vibe, we asked the dj to speed up the tempo he ignored us 3 times, we had the waiter tell the manager at the time and he also ignored us. mind you guys it was 6pm.hoohak was $88. I mentioned to the waiter that my party of 10 would be leaving due to the music we were falling asleep. one of the hostess approached reminding us that our 2 hour mark was approaching, tacky to say the least. I wouldn't recommend at all

I was looking forward to dining at this place but was highly disappointed in the service. I spent 1.5 hours waiting for my food to come out and it never came. I was even told that my “reservation time was up” and that another party needed the table when I still hadn’t gotten my food. This is exactly why people don’t support black businesses- because the experience is always poor. Super disappointing! If I could give this place 0 stars I would!

Kekoon is a restaurant that i have been wanting to try a couple of months now. Being that my mom’s birthday was approaching and she’s the type that prefers a home cooked meal I convinced her to try out Kekoon restaurant because they serve Caribbean style food. I made reservation and also informed the restaurant that this is a special dinner, my mom’s birthday.
When i got to the restaurant i went to check in but i was told that everyone needed to be there before we would be seated which i didn’t have a problem with because the rest of the family was close by.
Everyone arrived within the next 5-10 minutes which was still within the grace period. When i went to check in the waitress informed me that she will be back she’s going to get our table ready. After 15-20 minutes of standing around waiting, she never came back so i asked another waitress to find out what’s going on. The other waitress came and told me that a party was currently seated at our table still eating because they were late for their reservation . What sense to make a reservation then if we didn’t have a table?
Upon waiting some more to be served, a manager came to find out what was going on because he said one of the waitress accused him of putting his hand in her face. First of all i thought he was coming to apologize for the inconvenience which he didn’t, second my dad was being wrongfully accused on top of everything else. When i asked the waitress why she would say that and her response to me was she never said that to the manager .smh. I also said to the manager you guys have a security guard right by the desk so if my father did what your accusing him of he would of been addressed. Matter of fact the security guard didn’t even know what was going on.
The whole experience was very unprofessional and disgusting. Very bad customer service, no type of compassion, just out right awful……it’s safe to say we ended up leaving and went to dine at another restaurant

Great food and great atmosphere! My only complaints are that the music is too loud, they need more vegan options, and they shouldn’t give people a hard time when it comes to splitting checks. Other than that, I love Kekoon and will always come back!

The ambiance, service, and food were all top-notch. This is the place to go if you're searching for a Caribbean fusion restaurant. They also feature live music and stay open late.

It was my first time at Ke'Koon and let me tell you the vibe was amazing! I love the scenery and the DJ was on point it was on a Friday night. Let me tell you about my waitress Mariela all the food was amazing she encouraged me to try the shrimp sliders and it did not disappoint! I had fried chicken, oxtail egg rolls, shrimp sliders and a drink called Pineapple Mex Mule which Mariela recommended after I told her the type of drink I was looking for! I am definitely going back and asking for her she is the best because of her I found a new spot to visit on Friday's after work!
You know I thought this place would be nice because of how they make it sound but was disappointed in services and food the drinks are great but they keep you waiting long to get yr order in and to receive it even with a sm crowd you would think it’s better with ordering verses with a large party … am disappointed in food it not all that and the finger food is so so but not worth the price nothing there is worth my money I’ll spend on good food with out a problem it’s just not my thing or liking as I has expected ……
Went to a dinner party everyone got their food except me and I was waiting 2hrs. Ended up canceling the order because everyone was already done eating . Worse service.
