I was annoyed about the missing item but honestly its my fault for expecting better after 30 plus years of wrong orders from all locations.

Always good but the last few months it’s been AMAZING. Customer service is greeting with happiness and the new manager is great always cleaning and staying busy with the restaurant. All I have to say is look at the photos. Thx you pollo.

I don't know what changed in the last few years or so but every single time and I am not exaggerating, every single time I go drive thru, I am either missing something or there is an error in the receipt. Look at your receipts!!! Last week I came to this location and they didn't give me the receipt so I couldn't verify but I ordered a Lge Tropichop and received a regular size. Yesterday I ordered a quarter chicken and I got charged for an extra rice which I didn't get. Again the cashier didn't give me the receipt so I had to ask for it. I asked for salsa and didn't get any. Not this location but the loc on University and Sunrise took the cake when they messed my order really bad a few months ago and when I went in to complain, the manager, a young man, literally ignored me. Wow! I was not disrespectful or cursed at anyone and I stood there with my order without resolution. I wanted to give Pollo Tropical another chance but this week I was reminded that its no longer the same.

I've been to other Pollo tropical locations many times, and this time it was much better. The chicken was really tasty, I guess they actually marinated it for a day. Also service was way better, friendlier staff. Even the manager (I assume) was going table by table asking how everything was, which is unheard of for this type of restaurant. I like pollo tropical in general, but this was by far my best experience with them. The place was also clean and organized.

Terrible services, manager asked employees to stop attending line due to lack of chicken at lunch time. People left the restaurant.

Went to this Pollo Tropical and what a BIG disappointment!!! Ordered the crispy chicken combo. Chicken sandwich was kind of cold and not very freshly made. The fried yucca tasted more like grease than it did yucca. The Coke they say is Coke tasted more like a generic cola. It definitely was not Coke. And what they charge for this combo is a rip off!! Does not compare to Chick-fil-A.
The large Tropichop is the best value. Tastes great. Employees are nice.
Always a win when I go here for food. Very consistent. Portion could be a touch more but I'm always satisfied .

Customers be aware, I recently ordered a whole chicken meal from Pollo Tropical on or around December 4, 2024. Upon arriving home, I discovered that a significant portion of the breast meat (both left and right sides) was missing. It appears that employees may be instructed to remove a substantial amount of breast meat, likely to be used in other dishes such as Chicken Tropichop.
Pollo Tropical seems to employ a deceptive method of cutting the chicken, making it difficult for customers to notice the missing meat. This has unfortunately happened to me at other Pollo Tropical locations as well. I also noticed that the chef prepares your chicken at a hidden table, where customers cannot observe how the chicken is being cut.
To illustrate my point, I suggest visiting Publix and purchasing a whole oven-roasted chicken. You will observe that the breast meat is intact and that the chicken is served whole, unlike the experience I encountered at Pollo Tropical
