Unfortunately, this establishment snuck a gratuity in on me. They use Toast POS and chose my tip for me. It is never ok to take a payment device from a customer while they are using it, which is exactly what they did. I usually tip 22 percent. This was not about the amount. It was about the deception. i was never shown an itemized receipt and the waitress took the payment device from my hands to enter her own tip amount. I am never returning to this establishment again.
We had a really nice meal just to check it out. Pleasantly surprised
