Really nice spot in Davie with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. The restaurant was packed, and it's clear that a lot of people really enjoy it.
That said, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations. I found the olive oil to be a bit heavier than I prefer, and several dishes leaned too salty for my taste. To be fair, I visited the day after having an outstanding meal at Taverna Opa, which set an incredibly high bar with some of the best lamb chops and grilled octopus I've had.
We ordered the lamb chops, grilled octopus, Greek salad, and the Greek-style ribs. The lamb chops were cooked well, and the octopus was good, but neither reached the level of what I had the night before. The ribs were the biggest disappointment—they were overwhelmingly fatty and the heavy olive oil made them difficult to enjoy.
The desserts, however, were excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. The Galaktoboureko was fantastic, and the chocolate cake was equally impressive.
Overall, this is still a solid Greek restaurant and I can understand why it has a loyal following. For my personal taste, though, I prefer My Big Fat Greek in the area, and overall nothing comes quite close to Taverna Opa.

Anthony was absolutely amazing! From the moment my mom and I walked in, he made us feel so welcomed. We came in not really knowing what to expect, and Anthony was incredibly friendly, honest, and helpful with his recommendations. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving great service.

On top of that, the food was amazing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. We love those zucchini, fries as an appetizer, and the bread and oil mixture was a great addition. Anthony truly made our experience even better. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Food was above average. It's a sports bar. Server was fine nothing wrong with her. Did what she was supposed to do.

Anthony was super sweet and knowledgeable. He explains the menu in a really digestible way! Everything tasted wonderful (had dinner and dessert) and I love the casual but elevated decor. 10/10. The menu was diverse and I look forward to trying something else next time. We hope to have Anthony as our waiter again!

Old Montreal vibe

We used the Greek Joint to cater our Lunch and Learn, and I highly recommend! We ordered chicken pita, veggie pitas, and lamb gyros, along with the 4 dips, veggie orzo, and spanakopita. I took a lamb gyro for my own lunch, and it was delicious and filling. Everything was ready for us when we picked up the food, and the host was very friendly.
