Order the Mofongo with Chicken im fully puertorrican and moved to florida 3 years ago and I have to say it was amazing and my boyfriend order the steak with coconut rice WOW i loved it and to closed it we ended ordering the Coconut Flan omg best desert everrrr... Just visited Velez for the first time. The hamburger is phenomenal. Tasty, filling and cooked to perfection. Wife got the Grilled Chicken Bowl. Very good!

I had Velez cater a graduation get together yesterday and my family is still raving about the food. If you are looking for latin comfort food, that is full of flavor give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. Some of our favorite dishes are the picanha steak, chicken ajiaco soup and arroz con pollo. Thank you Velez!

Best latin food in Broward County! My family and I enjoy eating here or ordering take-out. Their menu is diverse with many delicious options to choose from. We begin with mini beef empanadas and pork belly. It comes with a sauce on the side that tastes excellent and has a kick that even people who don't like spice would like. For the main course, I enjoy the Punta de Anca steak or Chicken with mushroom sauce or Mofongo with shrimps. Yum! Their drinks are just as tasty especially the Coconut with lime (limonade). And lets not forget dessert!! Flan de caramelo (caramel) is sweet and lite. Don't miss out on eating here?
