Great food loved it you’ll see me back again
I can't eat fish but my wife and son loved the sushi! The music, the boats flowing by; it was very calming. The salad had too much dressing for my liking but the beef fried rice was good. The beef curry on the other hand, was more of a gravy. My son loved the brownie, it was too sweet for my liking.
The staff was polite and friendly.
Go there for the delicious fresh sushi, you'll enjoy yourself.

Great food!! My two year old loved the noodles, nice quiet place.

Sakana Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar offers a peaceful atmosphere reminiscent of a Miyazaki movie, featuring a sushi bar with "floating sushi river" and a hibachi grill. The sushi selection includes unique rolls like the Dragon, Raymond, Atlantic, and Wedding rolls. The hibachi grill serves tender filet mignon and well-cooked shrimp, though the fried rice may have too much soy sauce for some. The service is attentive, with the hibachi chefs performing the onion volcano trick, though they focus more on cooking than entertaining. Prices are reasonable, and getting a table is easy. The sushi chef’s dishes are delicious, but concerns about odors and decor suggest the need for improvements. The food was delicious, and the environment was cozy and great for a date night, with cool sushi boats that floated around to pick and try. The Miso broth was flavorful. Chef David came out to greet guests and check on sushi, showing he cares about his food. The David's Special roll, Cancun roll, crazy crab roll, dynamite roll, and Alaska roll were delicious and tasted fresh. The restaurant is walkable from the hotels by the beach.
