“I got dinner for my friends and they were on the fence ordering from Golden Krust because of some of the low reviews . But I guess I caught them on a good day because food was hot, fresh and plentiful! One of them said food tasted like a home cooked meal and they are both from the Islands. They got brown stewed chicken with rice and peas and plantain. My veggie patty was scrumptious and plantain cooked the right way. Customer service was very sweet and gave generous portions. Kudos Golden Krust that's how you do it!“

“I needed feel good food to make me feel better plus our daughter in town. We had breakfast and lunch yesterday. The lady (I believe is the owner) was so patient and friendly (as always) with her. She always is with me also. I called to say we'll be back for a 2nd helping of porridge if any left and she said come back I remember her. Came back another lady helped her, and then I had her go back in to get me lunch before we left. She said everyone was delightful and was tempted to get more porridge ??“

“I Don't know where these reviewers went but I'm sure its not the same Tabanka i have been going to. I have had nothing but exceptional service whenever I'm there, and believe me I have been there since they opened. Even family visiting from Trinidad the first place we visit is there. “From the moment we walked in, the experience at this restaurant was amazing. The owner, Mily, greeted us with a big smile and made us feel so welcome. She was incredibly hospitable—she even offered my mom a small taste of the legume before ordering, just to make sure she liked it. That level of care and kindness really stood out. Mily also walked us through the ordering process, explaining each dish and helping us feel comfortable with our choices.

I ordered the legume white rice sauce pwa plate and the tassot with diri jon jon, and let me tell you—it was phenomenal. The flavors were amazing , and everything was cooked to perfection. The restaurant’s playlist set the perfect mood, good music and playing at just the right volume not loud. Plus, the restaurant
was spotless—tables floors, were clean.

You can tell Mily truly cares about her customers and takes pride in every dish she serves. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was personal, and the food was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back! If you’re in the area please come check her out!“

I decided to get something to eat. when i walked in i saw only one customer so i started to have second thoughts but i went ahead and ordered, i turned around and saw four customers behind me . Let me just say this (YOU HAVE TO TRY THAT FOOD) I had the j*** pork and i can’t wait to go back and try something else . The way the food is placed , makes you want to eat it. “My family and I love trying new flavors from different places, so we decided to try this little place called: which is located on W. Commercial Blvd. and 441st Street in a large shopping plaza. The place is small, simple, but with an incredible flavor, WOW! We ordered a Brown Stew Chicken which had an incredible flavor, and you can't help but admire the prices😳 They don't even exist in a Chinese restaurant, no wonder there are lines of people buying their food at this place; that's why my husband and I have come to the conclusion: it's useless if the place has spectacular or extraordinary decor, if what will convince you is the flavor of their dishes. We will definitely return! Ahhh, not to mention that the service is very pleasant, the prices incredible, and the food sufficient and delicious. Why aren't these places as well-known? For their humble decor? Don't be fooled by the decor of the establishment or the dishes, focus on the flavor, which is what really counts.“

I had the oxtail which was so different than any oxtail I’ve ever tasted. Paired with the light & fluffy rice & peas??? Literally heaven. I’m obsessed. I wish I had pictures but I scarfed it down so fast. Please keep in mind that this is a home business (I recommend delivery but if you’re picking up, it’ll be in an apartment complex) but the food was so good & the preparation was proven to be sanitary! I had the jerk pork with festival and my wife had the combo of chicken pork rice and peas and Mac and cheese and I must portions were beyond generous for the price.
