“Across-the-board, this place is outstanding! My friend, and I went to two other pizzerias before she suggested that we come to Kosta's. Being from NY we don't eat just any pizza! We went to Bruscos and they acted like we were invisible, so we left. Kosta's greeted us like family! When they asked if we had ever been there my friend told them she had but I hadn't and we were looking for pizza ! The owner immediately threw a slice of pizza in the oven and split it between us to sample! It was incredible! I ordered a pie , a Greek house salad and 3 different types of desserts to bring home to my hubby who is now also hooked! Our waiter Nick provided service that we haven't seen in a while! But I will say after trying to food I am here to stay!We started with the octopus to share. It was delicious, flavored with lemon and spices and grilled enough where the inside was still super tender. It came with a side of tomato salad and olive oil drizzle. Then we went for the pita bread & butter which was super flavorful and such a great addition.The sea food pasta was delicious, adorned with shrimp, squid and clams. It was everything I could wish for. My husband for the swordfish with rice and salad. Also a phenomenal choice.The dishes tasted fresh and home made which we found to be charming. Another plus is the size of the plates. The food is excellent, the owners are great, my fiance and I have been going here since they opened.Everything on the menu is good. “We ordered two double combos. I had the shawarma chicken and gyro with a side of middle eastern salad and Greeks fries. My husband had gyro and beef kabob with grilled vegetables and middle eastern salad. Both dishes came with pita bread. The meats were amazing. The beef kabob was ground seasoned beef with so much flavor. The salad was perfect, and the best were the Greek fries. They were crispy and topped with feta cheese and fresh parsley. We got a cup of lemon dressing we could dip them into. Both our portions were very large. Florie was our server and she was attentive, helpful and genuinely kind. “We were in the area for Tortuga Music Festival and came here both Saturday and Sunday morning for breakfast. We sat in the same booth and had the same waitress both times. Eileen was so nice and welcoming, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the food was delicious! We ordered the waffle combo and Philly Cheesesteak omelet the first day and both were absolutely delicious! We ordered the blueberry pancakes and the country breakfast the next day and again perfection. I would highly recommend you stop here for great casual and affordable dining experience!!“
“First time coming back here since the new management took over…definite upgrade in the quality and portion of food. Brought my mom with me and she loved it. Everything was delicious! She had the lamb chops with a side of lemon potatoes, and I had the oregano chicken with a side of hummus and pita. All of it was so tender and flavorful…even the side Greek salad was amazing! “I am a Greek fan so when I was out with some of my employees and saw it was lunchtime, I had to pull out my Yelp app to see what options there was and came across this restaurant. I walked in and there was a short line but the cashier was taking orders pretty quickly. They had a board with some specials but I came for the gyro. One employee had the veggie gyro as he is vegetarian and the other had a gyro like me. The pita was warmed which is a good sign. The tzatziki had a nice consistency. There was a lot of meat in the gyro. All together it was delicious. Fries were hot. Best of all was the price- I want to say less than 10 dollars for the gyro, fries and a fountain drink.“
