“This place is legit! From the old school smoke aroma to the spot on rub, this is the best bbq I have had on the east coast. St Luis Ribs are fall off the bone and moist. Burnt ends are chunky and juicy and tasty. Everything was delicious. Staff has been inviting and hospitable every time we have visited - snd we definitely will return.“
“This place was amazing. It's black owned, ran by black people, the whole experience. My party of 4 got to the restaurant an hour before our reservation ( on a Sunday) and the host Wendy was gracious enough to get us in early. Wendy are a gem in that. You can tell she runs a they ship. All the staff were nice. The food was just simply amazing. When you first walk in, the low light will take you a couple of minutes to adjust. However once you do, it's all good from there. There have a little photos booth to take photos. The music was just right. I definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. We can wait to go back for dinner once night. Hats off to Smith and Webster!!“

“Dewey’s has excellent food and when we dine there, the service is outstanding. But we usually order through Doordash for delivery. We had issues with a couple orders containing the wrong items. I contacted the restaurant each time and spoke directly with Dewey, the owner. He took very good care of us, each time, going well above and beyond what was necessary. Highly recommended!!“

“The staff was incredible! Pictures of family members are on the walls of the restaurant, nice touch! I ordered a plethora of items all of which were typical of a soul food restaurant. Mac and cheese, fried wings w/ various sauces , fried ribs, fish and greens. Nothing really stood our as spectacular, however it was hot seasoned decently and the customer service was stellar. I would go back because of proximity,cleanliness, customer service. It's not the best soul food I've ever had,but it was good.Vegetarian options: If you are a strick vegetarian, I would not recommend.Parking: Ope. Parking lot. Restaurant located in a shopping plaza.“

“Came here on Thursday April 4, 2024 around 5pm. The lady who was working was awesome, I didn’t catch her name but she was sweet, attentive, funny, and her hospitality was unmatched. She might have been cooking and serving at the same time. All the food was fresh, the portions were huge, and it was DELICIOUS!! I’d never had a fried rib before but they set the bar high for anywhere else! The glaze they put on it was everything. The mystery drink was sooo good as well! 10/10 would recommend!!!!“
