My wife and I had dinner there, Monday evening. She had the shrimp and grits, and I ordered the BBQ ribs. We also ordered fried calamari. Everything was excellent. The ribs came with a side of baked beans, and they were as good as any I’ve ever had.
Our server was wonderful…very attentive. She couldn’t have done a better job.
Just wanted to say that I am so sorry the owners and staff are going through loss of income and employment after the fire, but I am glad you guys are going to be able to hopefully get up and going relatively quickly in some capacity. We were on the harbor last night and was happy to see you still had the entertainment and a couple of guys slinging drinks out of the trailer on the dock. Our favorite place on the harbor (we are local)! Great drinks and a menu with a wide variety of choices! Because we live here, we get tired of seafood. They have great burgers and ribs! We also enjoy brunch there after church. The owner, Johnny, is great and our favorite dockside server is Juna! Rusty is there in Thursdays and his music is so much fun!

Tailfins Waterfront Grill is a local restaurant on the Destin Harbor with a super cool vibe and waterfront views. The outdoor seating area is great views of the water and boats. People ordered seafood‑crab legs, Crab Legs, lobster tails, lobster roll, grouper ribs, cocktails and wings. The food is good, great, amazing and by far the best on the beach, with crab stuff mahi that literally melted in the mouth. Breakfast is absolutely delicious and portions are not skimpy. Service is amazing and people take care of people quickly and professionally. The place is good size and a perfect spot for watching the harbor. Parking costs $22 and some customers note that the fee is high. The restaurant is good food, gulf views and a perfect spot for a meal on the water.
