“we came in for a quick lunch and split a plate of grilled chicken enchiladas. the meal was delicious. chicken was tender and juicy.
i’m knocking down one star because the menu was a little sticky as well as the table, despite looking clean. our server was friendly and great though. the restaurant itself was very open and welcoming.
my experience wouldn’t deter me from coming back though.“

“The traditional Thanksgiving feast was exactly that. Turkey, ham and all the usual trimmings. No turkey tacos there today. All the wait staff shared in the responsibility of all of the tables and as a result we never had to ask for anything. But I must say that Marlon was an absolute wonder at handling our needs. We have loved Mezcal for years for their Tex-Mex style and top notch service, but today they truly brought it all together for a “Traditional American Thanksgiving Feast”. Everything we had off the buffet was right up there with the best we have ever had that was prepared at home. And the pumpkin pie ranked up there with any other pumpkin pie I have had in my 72 years! Many KUDOS to Mezcal! They came through today with “flying colors.”“

“we love this place, it's close to our house, they make a delish paloma, food is good but golly gosh darnit ~ please teach the cooks how to fry and egg for the huevos rancheros dish!!! they simply ruin this dish when serving it with an over cooked brown (yes that is how hard they fry it) eggs ~ it ruins the dish; do not serve this dish, huevos rancheros if you cannot make it correctly, thank you“

“we had nachos, burgers, shrimp quesodilla and WOW excellent! the place was incredibly clean... the staff was beyond any service we've gotten anywhere this entire week vacationing... best service and most welcoming atmosphere that I can recall experiencing in a really long time. had we found them on day one of our trip there's a good chance we just would have ate here every day! FANTASTIC“
