“We stopped by for lunch yesterday. It was our first visit but we’ve heard good things from friends. We were promptly greeted and seated without delay. We had one of the lunch specials (tacos, rice and beans) that came out quickly. Everything was very tasty including the chips and salsa delivered before the meal. “I love good Mexican food. It seems like the only place I can find great Mexican food is the food trucks. The food is fantastic. We had a taco with every protein option they have. Each one was delicious. We also ordered a burrito which also tasted great but was pretty undersized. The hot sauce was absolutely fantastic. They give you a bottle of green and red hot sauce which is nice. Some places charge extra. They do offer seating but it’s under this small covering that has a tarp thrown over the top and along the sides. It would have been nice to not have to duck in order to get in the seating area and a few lights in there would make it feel like you weren’t in a homeless camp. Having said all of that, here are the main points: Amazing food, atmosphere needs improvement, increase portion size would be nice.“

“It was my first time here so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised and pleased. I ordered 2 tacos de al pastor ($2.99 each) and a quesadilla de asada($6.99); I spent a total of $15 (with tip). Honestly, when I first saw these prices I thought they seemed pretty high, but considering its a locally owned business and inflation is crazy right now, its understandable so I'm not mad about that(I'm also just broke). When I got the food, I was IN AWE by the sheer size of the quesadilla, it was thicc and loaded up with steak! It came with a side of fresh lettuce, tomato, cilantro, and some jalapenos that i asked for. The taco's were your standard mexican street tacos so they were good. The salsa would be my real only complaint, I wasnt a fan of the black salsa but the green salsa was good. The wait time wasn't terrible, like 15 minutes+, but considering there was only 2 people working it's understandable. Overall, really good food for an amazing price.“

Looked promising for a place to go for the first time regardless of the small bit of negative reviews. Well those negative reviews went out the window of our thoughts when we got there. The wait was not long given the time. The waiter “Julian” I believe that was his name he was FANTASTIC! Really fantastic! He was kind, he checked in us often! His recommendations for my dish for the first time was great! His hospitality was awesome! Just want to say too, I recommend the Birria Tacos! & the Fajita Bowl with the Carnita! (“Julian” recommend carnita and I’m glad he did!) was delish both dishes! The meltdown melon margarita I had was delish too! Quite refreshing in this Florida heat! Also want to say the chips and salsa .. man that salsa was delish! Tipping my hat to you guys for that salsa! “Julian” our waiter also said they had a spicy version and I love spicy! He was awesome to bring us some when we asked for it. And it did NOT disappoint! It was so good! So for our first experience at this place I say we enjoyed it and enjoyed to food was delish!“

“One of my top favorite spots to eat for lunch. But recently someone else has taken over and named it big mikes tacos. I miss nachos tacos with that being said. Big mikes tacos isn’t bad just not as delicious as nachos and I’m unsure where the location in Tampa have went.“

“Second time coming here this time I ordered ahead. The first time I got birra tacos and the chimichanga. I didn't feel like the tacos were worth ordering again but the chimichanga is worth coming for.

I ordered the beef one and the chorizo (personally felt like it was super spicy, which I enjoyed with a drink) comes with rice and a little salad in the corner. I also got churros which are chocolate filled and a dip of chocolate on the side. Not bad at all. Overall this order was worth the money and really good ?

Yes the staff speaks little to no English so if I were you, order ahead to get over that issue. The lady there wasn't mean to me at least, she did her job and gave me my order. Thanks so much.“
