The food is phenomenal. The chicken was excellent, along with the sweet plantains and the pork empanada. I loved the little sauces they brought out with the meal. The rice and beans needed salt, but was ok.
The main issues were the waitress didn't speak English, so it was next to impossible to communicate with her, and the big one - the food took over 30 minutes to come out. Luckily, we weren't starving, but our drinks were melted and close to empty by the time we got our food, and we were just tired of waiting. We ordered two different empanadas and we were served them both in same basket with no differentiators. I asked the waitress if she could tell me which was which, but she didnt understand.

Since it's all outdoors, prepare for flies.

After all the food was eaten, we wanted to order more empanadas, but we couldn't spare the time so we paid and left. We will 100% go back, but we will be prepared to wait.

Well no parking. Road is messed up. Wanted to eat here but could not park. Stay away until the roads are clear. Wasted my time.

Absolutely delicious! So happy we found this gem while visiting the area. The food and the vibes were 10/10! Can't wait to come back.

Wow! Just left this place and this chicken was incredibly delicious! Chicken was tasty, juicy and extremely flavorful as were the sides! My husband is Cuban and makes his own beans but he really enjoyed their beans too (which is rare for him). Highly recommend, will definitely be back and plan on bringing my inlaws too (who are also super picky eaters). They were out of the flan, but I bet that would have been delicious- looking forward to trying it out next time. Atmosphere is very cool too. If you're thinking about going, stop thinking and go- you will not regret it.

Update: I've come to this restaurant many times now, always as delicious as the first time. Definitely a hidden gem, try it and I have no doubt you will love it.

Absolutely the best chicken out there in Pinellas county. Down and Dirty Cleaning APPROVES. 25 stars!

First time there and SO disappointed! Ordered the 1/4 dark chicken and the chicken must have been a pygmy chicken! The serving was SO small! Actually thought it was just a very small thigh. And the gentleman taking the order at the counter did not have a working knowledge of English in order to answer my question if fries were frozen or fresh. They were indeed frozen. sigh... So disappointed in the portion and inability to communicate with staff. will not return.

The food is so fresh and delicious. My husband and I shared the half white chicken with beans and rice. The barbecue chicken was cooked to perfection. It was plenty of food for 2 people. We also tried the beef empanadas, which were also very tasty!

Got a quick lunch to go after leaving my mom’s place in Dunedin. I am very happy I gave this place a try. I got a Choripan, elote, yuca fries and a beef empanada. Way too much food for one guy, but I had to try them all. Zero complaints about the food - everything was so good. The place has a really cool vibe and a great atmosphere. A little sunshine, a little shade, cool wood furniture and various greenery all around. Cool spot, nice people, great food.

Open air and super chill! The chicken is some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The sangria is like heaven in a cup and the atmosphere is so peaceful. All the staff is friendly, helpful and welcoming. I love the chicken bowl, yuca fries and their empanada’s. Prices are great compared to most places downtown. You won’t leave hungry!

If you think you know what chicken tastes like, go here and take it to a whole other level. It’s like a flavor explosion in your mouth. They are bbq geniuses. And try the chorizo, too.

My SO picked up chicken for takeout. It was very well seasoned, Moist very good, very cute outdoor place.
Focus on Cuban food.
Adorable, the rest of the menu looks great too.
