Sallie's Bistro is an exceptional restaurant run by a husband-and-wife team. Chef Michele is praised for his incredible culinary skills. The restaurant offers a range of continental cuisine, including the popular Shrimp Diabolique and Chateaubriand. The atmosphere is welcoming, with beautifully decorated tables and personalized touches. This top-rated restaurant in the Tampa Bay Area is a must-visit. Sallie's Bistro was a wonderful experience as always. The Sallie's salad is a favorite starter and the mushroom toast is one of the best things eaten and so unique but very generously portioned. The special apple dessert was like a deconstructed tarte tatin and so delicious. Service was great, knowledgeable and friendly, like coming home each time. Kieran, host/owner, greeted us warmly. The escargot in a garlic sauce was perfectly balanced. The onion soup was satisfyingly earthy yet incredibly light. The escargot were served alongside one of the best baguettes. The tartare was beautifully plated and satisfying. The prices are very reasonable, including the wine list, and the chef agreed to make the apple custard pie available for take-out.
