Ice cream is good, fudge is not worth it. Their other chocolates looked good though. Pricing is decent, they dont skimp either. 1 scoop is more like 1.5 or 2 scoops. Liked the Grasshopper Ice Cream.

What can I say about Strachan’s? This is a go to when in Dunedin. You can choose from regular flavors and from fun flavors with combinations you wouldn’t think of in the grocery store!

Good ice cream selection and friendly staff
It is like what you think it's Old fashioned ice cream shop might look like. When you walk in the first thing you see is a glass case filled with hand dipped chocolates hand dipped deliciousness! And that's the first place where I ever tried strawberry ice cream on a very warm cone? It was great!
Went there as a tourist... notice that it was ALWAYS full ... every day ... every time ... i'm not a fan of crazy expensive Ice cream... but decided to give it a shoot....
It's good !! I got the point. I now know why it's always full ! Good quality Ice Cream .

Pretty busy Friday night waited in line but it moved fast. Plenty of places to hang around and eat ice cream. Fun energy. Busy and buzzing. I tried the salted caramel, a hand spun milkshake of chocolate chocolate chunk, a strawberry scoop on a waffle cone, a scoop of chocolate, and another coffee flavored scoop. They were each one delicious and I. The top five qualities of ice creams I’ve ever tried. Solid hand made ice cream. Ten bucks for a good sized milkshake not unreasonable. There was live music across the street and a lady with a big cockatoo on her arm hanging out. Fun place.
