“Being from the Newengland area and have traveled the world I have always gravitated toward a restaurant like Cheers! Jim and his professional team has created an amazing environment with extremely delicious appetizers and entrees in that fashion. The beer is cold, the wine is quality and the cocktails are made to perfection. With chef Josh in the kitchen the presentation and taste of every entree is priceless. Regardless if you live here in beautiful Venice or visiting our lovely community Sands comes highly recommend from me and my family and friends!

“All the workers helpful for it being our first time here. Sliced the meat for the sandwiches in front of us. Prices can’t be better! Can’t recommend this place enough!
I’d like to add a very demanding woman with a lot of attitude was after us, and the workers handled her perfectly and diffused the situation and had her leaving happy! It was impressive to watch!“

“Anna Maria Oyster Bar - Ellenton, FL After spending the day at the Florida State Fair in Tampa, my fiancé and I decided to stop by Anna Maria Oyster Bar in Ellenton—and we’re so glad we did! We ordered fried oysters, French fries, and cheese grits, and everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside yet tender and flavorful inside. The cheese grits were just the way I like them—nice and thick—and the fries were a great complement to the meal. Even better, our food arrived quickly and fresh. Our waitress, Lilly, was fantastic, providing friendly and attentive service. We also appreciated how the rest of the staff greeted us warmly as we walked through the restaurant. It’s little details like that that make a place feel extra welcoming. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms, which is always a big plus. Anna Maria Oyster Bar now has four locations, and after this experience, I’d definitely visit again. If you’re in the Ellenton area and craving fresh seafood with great service, this spot is a must-try!“

“Had the best experience today at Dubz! Took a large group from our Assisted/independent Living for a Supper Outing. The food was outstanding, and Miranda, our server was excellent, professional, friendly, and patient She delivered happiness all around, and made our residents feel very important! “The best Greek food I've ever had!!! Everything on their menu was amazing! Especially the lamb. The best tzatziki sauce I ever tasted. Most of their food is made from scratch. Definitely recommend this place. The service was outstanding. And the ambiance was very family friendly. Oh, and to top it off, their dessert was exceptional, homemade baklava and the cheesecake was the bomb!!“

“Great atmosphere. Upbeat, spacious, clean.
The complaints I have would be the boneless for 6 pieces was 16$ whopping dollars!!! My fault for lacking attention to it but when I brought it up I was kind of treated dismissive I had no rude tone but was like what the actual heck about the prices just making a general comment.
Not the best at refills or time.
Philly egg rolls were subpar to me.
Garlic knots were great.
Specials are pretty decent.“

Strawberry salad is the BEST! Too bad it is SEASONAL!
Wheelchair accessibility: Not good! Just to get over the curb you have to go 60 feet either way to get to a ramp! We hold the door open for people with wheelchairs! Needs help for them“
