A disaster. 7 for dinner. Not 1 entre was either good or prepared as requested. Lamb bobs, order med rare-came well done and had no lamb flavor, tasted like they were drowned in bourbon. Ribeye ordered medium well-came rare. Burger w/ cheese cake without cheese. 2 pasta dishes were just ok and not hot. Brussels sprouts are prepared shredded and not very tasty. Now for good...mash potatoes, pork chop, lobster Basque and on him soups.

All I can say is oh my gosh! Today is my daughters birthday. She wanted to try Chris' Place for brunch. Everything was absolutely perfect! She was even given a complimentary class of champagne AK.A birthday bubbles! And the bottomless momoses were perfectly made! My daughter had the Lobster Benedict she said it was amazing! I had the stuffed French toast… all I can say is wow!We will definitely be back! Our server Cheryle totally made her feel like it WAS LIKE A NATIONAL HOLIDAY!!!! We can't wait to go back to try dinner. I've been thinking about the lobster bisque since I read the dinner menu.

The food was good, but the price was disproportionate to the serving size and quality. The dinner menu is also difficult to read as you can see in others' pictures, with each line being a sentence about a different dish. The crab cake stuffed portobello mushrooms includes 5 bite sized baby Bella mushrooms. At $18 that's $3.60 per bite. The seared scallops are also $18 for only 3 scallops. The lobster bisque soup:My partner got the bisque and the lobster in it was overcooked, but the sauce was amazing, and the only reason I would ever consider going back. At $6/cup or $12/ bowl the price is more reasonable. The French onion soup:I ordered was good enough, but they make it with some sort of meat that tastes like pot roast, which I do not like and did not expect to have meat in French onion soup. The Lobster Truffle Fettuccine with Cheese Sauce:They no longer use truffle but haven't updated the menu. Without the truffle, this dish is literally just the cup of lobster bisque over fettuccine. At $33 I was expecting more. The soup alone is $6 meaning they charge an additional ~$27 to add fettuccine.I still enjoyed the dish as it tasted identical to the soup which I enjoyed, but it is 100% not worth the price increase. Take the cup of soup home and put it over your own pasta. The Crème Brulèe Cheesecake:They decorate the plate with caramel but none on the Cheesecake itself. It didn't taste like anything special and we did not like the crust. At $11 for a single slice of "just okay" Cheesecake, I regret not just stopping at the store on the way home to buy a whole Cheesecake for $15-$20.The staff was very friendly and able to answer all questions asked and I have only good things to say about the service we received.Overall verdict: I do not have the disposable income to spend this much on food that disappoints me.

Chris' Place is a hidden gem in Downtown Eustis. We stopped in for brunch on Sunday and were greeted with a warm welcome upon entering. We sat at the bar with excellent service and bottomless mimosas! The lobster eggs Benedict was amazing and highly recommended. We will definitely be back again!

Great place to eat in downtown Eustis! The food is delicious and well worth the price! Our waitress was fantastic! This is a quaint little restaurant with a lot of ambiance! Great burgers, lobster bisque, and chicken cordon blue, among other mouth watering dinners. Highly recommend!!

The chicken cordon bleu was superb! Can't wait to go back, and try something else. We sat outside. The weather was nice and we enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake.

Menu is not real expansive. Food very good, everything was good. The only negative is they charge an additional 3% for chg cards.Sigh....May not go there again. It's a more upscale place, so meals are about $30+. Another resturant that did the same thing, they are no longer in business. That resturant was on the same street a block away. So cash/debit card if you want to check them out.

Great food and exceptional service from a local restaurant. We showed up without a reservation and were happy to sit at the bar. The food is exceptional. We will definitely be back!

We asked if we needed a reservation they said no. We went when they first opened and was told they were booked solid and couldn’t accommodate us. Then they proceeded to tell us we could eat outside. Got the menu and almost choked and the prices. Not to mention there was a very little selection to choose from. The head hostess rolled her eyes like we were a bother. And couldn’t clean our outside table fast enough when we left. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
