I really hate writing reviews but sometimes you have too. We just left kiku as we waited at the door til 430 for them to open. They gave someone else me and my son’s portion of chicken (the person said they ordered steak and shrimp but got all 3 when we asked) and we told the chef but he just ignored us. I guess he didn’t understand. I finished all 6 small chicken nuggets and the rest of my plate very quickly. My portions of everything were very small again. Last visit was same. I believe that’s why I have quit going there because when I spend that kind of money I don’t expect to still be hungry. The woman beside me even said our meals were slack. Also I have noticed that when a kid or someone says extra rice or noodles they just take from the reg orders. Very disappointed as this place has been a birthday meeting place and one of our local favs.

Its the usual Japanese place. Salad was dry not enough dressing. Our chef was just ready to be done not alot of show. It's not bad at all. However it doesn't stand out either.
the food is always good, there’s never a problem there. i’ve gone a bunch but the last time i went i had a new chef i think his name was “Dee”, it was only my girlfriend and i at the table and he came up to us before cooking and acted weird towards my girlfriend. He asked how old she was (she’s a minor) and asked when her birthday was and things like that, just a bit odd. asked for our names throughout the meal and while cooking it seemed like he was flirting with her. we were both visibly uncomfortable and he made several inappropriate comments towards her. asking if she wanted his love and tried to touch hands with her. at one point he said something and his coworkers started to record him for “youtube” while he sang to her. he later on walked behind our chairs and stood almost touching us while we both were visibly uncomfortable. i really enjoy the food here and i usually have DJ as the cook and he’s wonderful, but we won’t be coming back in fear of having that cook again.

This hibachi is my all time favorite. The portions are huge and the staff is always friendly.Parking: Ample parking and a loop around drop off area at the front door.

We tried this place on Christmas Day and Wow, were we impressed! Better food than Kobe, lower prices and they don't cram as many people around the hibachi table. We will be back!
