Overall great food friendly service must be extremely patient due to the fact that the waitress seemed extremely confused and nervous it took over an hour for us to get our food once ordered maybe a work in progress I'd say but food was absolutely delicious once served atmosphere was wonderful as well.

Stop giving 4-5 star reviews and then saying everything was wrong. Long waiting is the norm here, and was before covid. The chips are brought in single serving sizes for the table to share and good luck getting more. The food finally came- I asked for charro beans several times during ordering and said please not the smashed ones because he didn't seem to be listening/understanding, but he shook his head like he did. He of course brought refried and when I said something, he said they don't have charro and he didn't understand. If we're not understanding each other, please go get help. If you don't understand my order, ask again.Neither of us finished our food because it just isn't tasty. Still fresh, not bland, just off. The Ranchero sauce is kind of tastes like they added a hot sauce or too much vinegar. Idk. Super disappointed with the whole thing. Won't be giving another chance. The young man was extremely nice, nothing against him personally. Just didn't understand me well I guess.

We arrived at 6:15pm and didn’t leave till 8pm and that wasn’t by choice either. We completely understand that so many places are short handed but the fact they didn’t keep us informed or apologize for the wait. Others that came in the same time us as eat and left before we got our food. It took 15 mins to get or drinks. That’s our fault for not leaving them but we had a 4 year old who wanted dinner. Then when we decide to ask for our check and not wait for our food he said ours was next but then took another 30 mins and 2 tables that came in way after us got theirs.Husband food was hot and good.Mine burrito was cold inside.Daughters quesadilla was hot but French fries was cold.This isn’t the first time we have had a bad experience but this was the worst. We are done with this place 3 strikes and we are done. Honestly if you see more then 3 cars in the parking lot go somewhere else.

Absolutely disgusting. Small roaches in my sweet tea. Roaches are nasty and how long was the tea left out for roaches to get it. Sickening. If they can get into the tea , all other foods are easy.

food was not bad would have been better if it wasn't luke warm. waited 35 minutes for our food. service was not great. wasn't very busy maybe 4 or 5 tables of guest. worth a try hopefully you will get better service

Several times since they have made changes to staff the tacos are completely wet on the bottom and soggy they are not draining the taco meat the last incident they said it was because it was take out and I told them NO that the first time it happened I was dining in and having a drink and I had two tacos they came out completely wet on the bottom I forced down one and had the drink then two times after that same thing nasty soggy tacos and nobody is listening to me tell them they aren't right I have eaten there in between the taco incidents and the food is fine so whoever is making the tacos just dosent seem to care and nobody else is going to do anything about it

The food was absolutely delicious here! My daughter and I ordered quesadillas, her steak and me chicken. The service was subpar and one of the staff members that served the chips and salsa was very rude, almost to the point of 3 stars or less but the food made up for his bad attitude.

Myself and a group of friends visited La Casa about month ago on a Saturday night with the hopes of finding a great Mexican restaurant in Southern Lake County.The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was nice. Unfortunately, the service was unsatisfactory.When we first arrived, we were one of only four tables that were seated (kind of on the low amount for 7:00 on a Saturday night). Our server came to the table to take our food and drink order. Though he was bilingual, he had very little knowledge about the menu when he was taking our order (there were four of us total).Once our order was placed, another five tables were seated in our vicinity. About 45 minutes after we placed our order, the only items that had arrived at our table were our drinks and chips. Meanwhile, the tables that were seated after us had begun to receive our entrees.When our server came back to check on us, we mentioned that we had been waiting for 45 minutes for our orders and that others around us had begun getting their food before us. The server apologized and said he would have the kitchen expedite our food.About ten minutes later, we received our order. However, two of the entrees that arrived came out with the wrong sides, as well as with toppings within the tacos that we specifically requested were withheld. The server managed to fix both of these mistakes about 5 minutes later.At the end of the evening the manager came to our table to apologize for the delay and mixup, as apparently the restaurant was understaffed both in the front and back of the house. Apparently the young gentleman who was our server that evening normally works as a busser and it was his first evening working as a server, so he was still learning the ropes of the job. The manager gave us a 25% discount off our total bill and requested that we give the restaurant another chance in the near future.Overall the food itself was good, but the customer service was sub-par. Though I was tempted to give La Casa a lower rating, I decided to give them 3 stars because of their good food and the humility they showed when admitting to their mistakes, which is a rarity in the customer service industry these days. At some point we will visit La Casa Mexican Bar again. Hopefully on our next trip I will be able to update this review with more positive feedback.

Could've been better, the first thing you notice is an awkward smell. There were loads of flies EVERYWHERE! Food took much longer than anticipated, 40 minutes! There was 1 other table! 1! Though the food was delicious and a decent sized portion, this place needs a sanitation inspection! The food tasting as good as it did is the only reason this place gets any stars!Great food,Dirty smelly restaurant.

Good authentic Mexican food at a decent price. I had the Cameron's Monterey which is shrimp tomatoes onions bell peppers and lots of cheese on top of Mexican rice and could only eat half. It was delicious!
