Had a reservation for 7 of us. They put us downstairs, our waitress turned out to be the bartender so she was doing double duty. That meant we were neglected. Three of us ordered salads, she brought 2 of them, never brought the 3rd salad. We had to ask another server to check on it. Had to wait for refills for our drinks. She said the crab cakes were really good, my husband said he grew up in MD so he knew good crab cakes, she said he would like them. They were awful, had a taste of cleaning fluid. She also highly recommended the Grouper. Three of us ordered it, 2 of the grouper dishes tasted horrible. The manager did take the dishes off the bill & gave us 2 deserts however, the total experience was not good. Won't be going back.

The place was a nice location. It’s close to a lake and has nice views. The food itself was less than average. We ordered the fish and the portions were tiny and prices were higher than normal. The fish tasted frozen not fresh.

Excellent food and atmosphere

Let me begin with we were visiting from Daytona after going to the Mount Dora flea market and we googled restaurants near us... Needless to say after looking at the menu I chose this spot and It couldn't have been a better choice!! My husband and I both are from the south born and raised and the quality of the food was phenomenal it was hot it was served in a timely fashion even my daughter who is a picky eater absolutely loved and devoured her classic burger. We started with the fried pickles which were exceptional and extremely hot be careful... I ordered the pub Burger which was cooked perfectly and my husband got the haddock dinner with a loaded baked potato... Everything was cooked perfectly!! I expressed to the server that where we live in Daytona it's rare that we actually get hot food and everything that they brought out to us was hot and exceptional!! I made an odd request for the fact that my husband had got the fried fish but that made him question because he was curious about their fried gator... I asked for just a sampling or a piece of the fried gator just to see how it was cooked because based by the fish it had to be excellent and The manager Christina Patterson came through in spades and provided us the fried gator which was marinated and cooked perfectly!! Cypress our waitress was absolutely phenomenal as someone who worked in the food service industry for more than 15 years she followed through on everything and was pleasant and made everything complete!! We will definitely be back and we will absolutely recommend this restaurant for any of our friends who happen to be traveling through the area... Great job 🦋🦋

We ordered drinks from inside bar and waited to be sat outside, the bartender told us we couldnt take our drinks we paid for outdoors. Odd!!! Our food was undercooked. Our waitress apologized many times, they made it again and we took it to go but never checked our boxes until we came home amd had the wrong food given to us. Great atmosphere and seems like a cool place to hang out but doubt we will be back

This was our second time ( first time lunch it was great) this time for dinner Oct 16 our anniversary. We had fried green beans we asked for more dipping sauce when our meal came out she remembered the dipping sauce asked if we still wanted it ( definitely not now ) my husband had shrimp and grits , grits were kinda hard ( he has had shrimp and grits before from many other places ). My sweet potato fries were cold. We had to ask for drinks. Definitely disappointed

Very nice restaurant. Food was delicious and the server was awesome. Only negative was the lunch prices are more dinner prices. Would be nice to be offered a more price point for lunch. Gorgeous view.

I'm just stating facts here, you're not going to find a cleaner restaurant. The owner is a germaphobe and scrubs everything the staff doesn't EVERY WEEK. I helped in the construction and still work here occasionally, earning me a peak behind the scenes. The kitchen is IMMACULATE. The staff is so well orchestrated. The rest speaks for itself

Came here when they first opened and was not impressed. Second time even less so. Food is just average and not worth the hour and 20 minute wait. Staff was inattentive. More concerned about the larger group next to us who was seated after us. If you don’t mind a long wait for food, next to no service, average food at best then this is the place for you. The reason for 2 stars is because of the location/outdoor vibe. It is the best thing they have going for them.

Sorry but the Philly cheese sandwich was not good. Inedible. To their credit the restaurant provided a 2nd one but that too was filled with some type of fat or cartilage. Friend’s crabcakes were cold. They were out of the steak another friend ordered. Price a little higher than other places. Waitress was fantastic! Atmosphere very nice. Next time to the Hurricane Grill.

Parking: Crabcakes were delicious even though cold. Friend took hers home and had it for supper.
