Baxters - an upscale yet friendly place to eat. As you enter there is a full bar, with dinner service. Those folks are chatting and having a good time too! The restaurant is dark-ish, with good lighting over the booths. There are a few larger round tables for 6-8 pax but booths for everyone else. The ribeye was great but the veggies really sucked. No flavor and the rum runner was horrible. And my wife's parents said their stakes tased more like sirloin then ny strip.If your going to charge that much for food it better be perfect.
Went to Baxter,s for our 40th anniversary. Was told they had the best steaks on island, they do hands down! Fantastic restaurant great food, impeccable service. Dennis was wonderful, could not ask for a more thoughtful server.
