Beach Diner Fernandina Beach

Seeking a good breakfast for my first day on the island and the Beach Diner did not disappoint me. The service was exceptional! The coffee was rich and steaming hot. My waitress kept it topped off during my meal of western omelet, potatoes and wheat toast. The omelet was delicious. The potatoes had a ‘funny’ taste like they were fried in an old grease, but the service was so good that I could overlook that.

went here during my vacation! the brunch here is super homey and cozy! i went twice and can't complain about the food! their chicken and waffles was my favorite!!
the service was a bit slow, but understandable since they were busy.
the atmosphere is a classic diner feel, but very clean! will go again! 🦇

In my opinion, this place is an absolute treasure! We came here on the reviews, which did not disappoint. Prices are reasonable, and they will do substitutions for reasonable up charges as well. Food was really top notch with some very tasty offerings. Alicia G was a pleasure to have serve us, and really made the experience excellent. Very knowledgeable about the menu and options, very attentive, and a wonderful and welcoming demeanor. Ask for her if you stop in, and plan to tip her well!

I took a friend who was moving to South Carolina to breakfast at the BEACH DINER this morning. We were quite lucky to get Jeri as our server. I've known Jeri since she was very young and no one could have done a better job for us. Her service was a great example of how it should be done. Our food could not have been better. If you want great food and service at a reasonable price, go to the BEACH DINER!

I was very disappointed with my experience here. As soon as I arrived, the greeter questioned me about where my handicap placard was, even though it was clearly displayed on the dash of my car. Being put on the spot in that way was not only unnecessary, it was offensive. Guests should be welcomed with courtesy, not assumptions.

It set a negative tone for the entire visit, and while the food . may have been fine, the lack of basic respect at the front door overshadowed everything else. Accessibility and sensitivity matter, and I sincerely hope the staff receives better training in this area.

Recently went to Beach Diner for lunch.They have an extensive menu with a lot of variety. You can get breakfast or lunch. We actually ended up getting breakfast items. Our service was good. Orlando kept things moving very well. Our food came out fairly quick. The coffee was very good. They seem to stay pretty busy. My Husband had the fajita omelette with eggs. I had pancakes, eggs and turkey sausage. I wasn’t a big fan of the home fries. That’s the one food item I would have liked to be prepared differently. Overall, the food was good. Prepared to order. The restaurant can get a bit noisy, because it’s a big place, and it’s frequented by Locals and Visitors. We have lived on Amelia Island for 12 years, but had never eaten there. We will probably go back, to try their burgers and lunch menu. We recommend giving Beach Diner a try. Go hungry.

Newt coffee on the island. Decent value. They can properly poach an egg. Home fries are excellent

We love the Beach Diner, but are really tired of getting there to find a paper sign on their door saying that they are closing early AGAIN!! 😓
