This is by far the best restaurant on the island. I'm well aware that Amelia Island has many phenomenal restaurants. However, David's is the best of the best.

This spot is a nondescript place on the corner that you would easily pass up- however, it's worth booking a table for special occassion or celebrating something. This place is very classy though a bit dark and dated on the inside, they made up for it in the food and service. We ordered 2 appetizers (beet salad and brie- which were both just ok) the stars of the night were the entries scallops which were cooked to perfection! My husband had the steak and lobster which he said was perfect with all the accompanied sides. Our server (think it was Halee?) was great so professsional and good. It was the type of service that you barely notice but don't need to wait or ask for anything- perfect place to celebrate a date night!

Everything is delicious ? service is excellent. For appetizers, we had the French onion soup which for me was a bit salty buy my husband loved it. We also had the escargot- it was delectable! For entree I had the mignon lobster while my husband had the ribeye. It was cooked the way we liked it. The cocktail drinks we picked complimented the meal. I would recommend their cheesecake for dessert. With 2 appetizers, 2 cocktail drinks, entrees, dessert and 2 cups of coffee = $267 without tip, which is a decent price for a delicious dinner.

It was so dark could not see what I was eating. Ordered rack of lamb received one with the bone the other three were sliced. I guess that was to to keep their price down but not mine. Don't mind paying just don't like to be ripped off

David's Restaurant and Lounge in Fernandina Beach is the epitome of elegance and sophistication, a haven where every detail speaks of refined taste and luxury. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of opulence that set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.Sebastian, the bartender extraordinaire, was not just a mixologist, but a maestro orchestrating a symphony of flavors and ambiance. His presence alone elevated the entire evening to a whole new level of chic indulgence. The cohesion of the staff's training was evident in the seamless flow of service, each member moving with the precision of a well-rehearsed ballet. It was a testament to the commitment to excellence that permeates every aspect of David's.For my nightcap, I indulged in the rotating ice cream flavors and enjoyed a salted caramel pretzel, a divine creation that was not only plated with simple beauty but exploded with flavor on every layer and element.Accompanied by a couple of local micro-cold brews, the evening was a delightful dance of flavors and fun. I left with the anticipation of returning to David's to explore more of the tantalizing offerings that await. Thank you, David, for an experience that exceeded all expectations.
