If you are coming to the beach to enjoy a GREAT SEAFOOD… this place is it - hands down. We were so satisfied with the food, service and how fast you will get your food.
Just plan to be there and wait for 20-40 mins during dinner time.

30 min wait turned into an hour. Super rude hostesses. Food was very blah. Drinks were like water or syrup. Would not go back

I had their portobello mushroom sandwich I'm vegetarian.
I took off a goat cheese and added white American cheese and it was delicious. I had their vegetables it had asparagus, zucchini, squash, carrots, and peppers slightly steamed.
I also shared some sweet potato fries with my sister they were good with blue cheese dipping sauce. Sorry no pictures I was ready to eat.😁👍

This is a must-see when you're on the island. Fresh shrimp cooked about every way. We had is boiled and fried, with the charred catch of the day. Will be back.

We came to Fernandina beach for a lil vacation, oh surprise my boyfriend proposed by the lighthouse! We went to the Salty Pelican for our engagement dinner. OMG, we had to go back! The food is out of this world, huge dishes and the price is absolutely right. We will make this our yearly getaway for our engagement anniversary, and definitely coming back to the Salty Pelican, the service is 5 Stars!!!

My wife and I enjoyed the food that we ordered. We got the chicken wings with mild sauce. The best wings we had in awhile.
Of course, the onion rings were great and homemade. Also, the shrimp poboy. The shrimp was so fresh that I could taste the salt from the ocean on it. The Cuban sandwich with bacon jam was so good. I can't wait to go back. The ambiance and the atmosphere of the Salty Pelican is delightful.
