Came here with friends while in Florida on a trip. We waited 15 minutes for them to even acknowledge us at our table, and when we all attempted to order drinks, the waitress took my friends id (who is 24), was gone for about 10 minutes and then came back and proceeded to say “sorry I don’t feel comfortable serving you guys”, and made us leave. Keep in mind 2 of our friends (who are also 24) went up to the bar to order drinks and the 2 other bartenders didn’t even id them?! What a joke.

The Decantery was recommended to us by a local so we had to check it out. The vibes were immaculate and the drinks were great! Milena was wonderful; she had awesome recs and was able to adjust the cocktails we wanted to match our liking. I ordered the small charcuterie board and loved the selection. I would definitely recommend The Decantery as a place to wind down after a day at the beach!

This is one of our favorite spots on the island! The service is always top notch and the drinks and bites are always delicious. Tonight, Sarah Nick & Hilary were truly 10/10! Highly recommend any locals or travelers to stop by!

It's unfortunate that I have to post this but I had terrible service last night. As a local, I support this business all year round. However the service I received last night, Friday, June 21, was terrible. Yes they were busy, but I was straight up ignored. To the point that other customers were asking why the bar staff was ignoring me and two other customers, who were also locals. Just disappointing that I've been coming to this establishment for years and never had this bad of service.

The first place you’ll want to visit when in Fernandina is The Decantery! It has the coziest vibe, yummiest desserts & the best bartenders around. Nothing but great service every visit!

My wife and I waited 30mins to order drinks that came out poured very short and weren't mixed well. Then we never got our dessert. It's very unusual for us to feel like it's because we're two married women, but that was exactly the feeling we both got - completely ignored. We have never had an issue or feeling like this before. We are from the area and watched Decantery turn into a tourist spot with a somewhat trashy vibe, so we won't be returning. We would like to encourage people to explore better venues downtown, unless you really want to wait over 30mins for buttercake and subpar drinks while yelling over music. Don't let their charming photos fool you. This is a dive bar in a dress.

I find it very odd that whenever my wife and I get drinks here, we get ignored. Makes me feel like the staff doesn't want to serve us, or the service is just really terrible. I have NEVER complained about feeling like I was treated a certain way for being married to a woman, but something is off about this place. My wife and I are from the area, and we've watched this place become a huge tourist spot. The atmosphere isn't like what it used to be, and it's starting to feel trashy.
We want to support our local businesses, but unfortunately, after another bad experience tonight waiting 30mins at the bar to order drinks that were subpar (short pours and badly mixed), and then not receiving a dessert we ordered, we won't be returning or continuing to support this business, and we would like to encourage other people to explore better venues.
We sincerely hope the ownership gets it sorted out and treats their other customers better.
