My family stays at this hotel at least once a year. The bar by the pool has great food and drinks for the whole family. Prices are always decent in relation to restaurants in the area and makes for a great post pool time snack before dinner.
I am so excited to write this review. My husband and I came to Amelia Island just for four nights. Since we have never been here it was difficult for us to decide online which hotel to stay in. We wanted one close to the beach and also close to the downtown area. The Springhill suites by Marriott was perfect! The bistro and tides pool bar are one and the same, just one is outside. The atmosphere is great and comfortable and food is good, at best. There’s not a great entree on their menu. It’s pool bar food, that’s mostly tasteless. The drinks are way overpriced and not always made well, especially the old fashioned. The self proclaimed experts there can’t get that one right.
