Pasta was not fresh, undercooked and from a box. The pasta also had freezer burned shrimp, the cocktails are also not great, all made from mix, nothing fresh or made in house here. No authentic Italian food.

What a shame to frequent an establishment only to be kicked out of the outside patio portion during closing and have my friends drink snatched straight out of her hand.
Her martini showered all three of my friends thanks to Lance the security guard. After aggressively grabbing my friends drink right out of her hand, he then turned his body camera on conveniently missing how aggressively he handled letting us finish our last few sips while standing outdoors. Another couple was comfortably sat drunk out their minds on the couches smoking not being bothered, but pretty sophisticated ladies get our $30 drink snatched and spewed all over us. What a shame and an embarrassment. Do better AmSo

This place is the best. The staff is phenomenal, especially our waitress Makenna and the bartender Kenny. The manager Mel runs a tight ship!

Walked in for brunch on Mother’s Day 5/10/26, without reservations and the host was able to accommodate us, a group of four. The waitress was fantastic and the service manager Taylor Bowman came by and spoke to us and wished the misses happy mother’s day. Food and mimosas were great, as well as the atmosphere in the place. Will definitely be back.

Mary made our experience at American Social truly enjoyable. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive without ever feeling overbearing. Her kindness and great sense of humor added such a nice touch to the evening. It’s clear she genuinely cares about providing great service. We’ll definitely be back and would love to be seated in her section again!

American Social is such a vibe! Great music, great crowd, and the energy is always on point. Food came out quick, and the whole place just feels like a good time. Perfect spot if you’re trying to enjoy yourself without overthinking it. Definitely one of my go-to spots in Fort Lauderdale. Shout to Mary for her amazing service!
