I’ve stopped here twice. The first time, the food was decent although some of the food and beer options advertised were not available. The ambiance is rather strip mall given the prices. We next stopped by around 7:00pm on a Friday. Despite being well within business hours and an OPEN lite on, the restaurant was dark and the door locked. I messaged the restaurant via their Facebook page and have never received a response.Everything online indicates that they have not closed. If that’s the case, they clearly don’t care about building a customer base.

This place is a gem!!! ?The food is super good and fresh!!!Melissa and her staff is amazing!!!I'm not sure why it has 3 $$$ dollar signs on Google. I got a sandwich from Chick-fil-A and a milkshake and it is $18 dollars. One thing about it is you get what you pay for, it's not expensive, and the quality is definitely here! I recommend this little gem to everyone!!! ?

We found the restaurant while driving through the area looking for something new. I ordered Grilled Salmon and was asked how I wanted it cooked. I've never been asked that before about fish before. It came out raw in the middle so I sent it back and it came back cooked more but now the outside was really dry. It also came with spinach but there were carrots cooked with it and the combination just didn't work for me. It was very sweet and tasted almost like they added sugar. The service was fine and our server was very friendly and nice.

Hi - I was on vacation at Fort Lauderdale and came across Bouy One Seafood Restaurant. I am so happy and pleased I did! On 08/29/23 I was greeted by Melissa, possibly the owner or manager, and she was so nice, friendly and helpful! I wound up having shrimp and pasta (linguine) with a side of potatoes and red and green peppers and it was absolutely delicious! I also tried their coconut beer (Island Breeze brand). and it too was good. And for dessert, a coconut cupcake! The whole evening and dinner experience was very nice, good, and delightful! I thank Melissa for being so nice and a great hostess and I would definitely return next time I'm in that area and I highly recommend Buoy One!

My kids and I go every week. We are treated like family every time we go there. We get Lobsters, crab legs, mussels and clams. I look forward to going every Thursday. And my kids love everything. Try it out you won't be disappointed.

This was a great find. Simple restaurant. Not a lot of glitz and glamour, but excellent seafood with a fantastic manager/server. Without question if you like fresh seafood that is not over priced then it's a must go. Everything we had was so fresh and was perfectly cooked. Extra props to the kitchen staff. We started with something not on the menu but will be. Soft shell crab. Truly the best tasting soft shell crab I have had and I have had them at many restaurants. We also had the crab cake. This to was amazing. It literally was all crab on a bed of lettuce with roasted corn. Outstanding. For dinner we had the cod in wine sauce and the bucket of shrimp. The cod was so fresh and tender. The sides we had were spinach with garlic and the vanilla sweet potatoes. Those sweet potatoes are the best.My shrimp were absolutely cool perfect and the Cajun butter they were served in was spot on.The manager was nice enough to bring us a cup of chowder to try. It to was one of the best chowders we have had. It's a simple restaurant with its own direction. That is to serve great seafood that is fresh and perfectly prepared. A definite return spot. Remember this place has a simple ambiance with excellent food. It's worth a visit and several return trips.

I can't say enough great things about this place. I have eaten in the restaurant and ordered food from the market and cooked it at home. The GM is a wonderful lady. Always makes us feel like family when me and my kids go there. Both my kids love it. They are 13 and 10 and hard to please. But they are always happy to go there.

Great meal - 6 person Lobster Bake. Best lobster out ever… so easy to eat. Melissa made us feel like family. She’s so nice and accommodating. The fried whole fish app was delicious. Highly recommend. I don’t often rate 5/5.

Visited today and had an amazing experience. The fried seafood basket was very filling and tasty with cod, shrimp and calamari. They also had the best cupcakes I ever had. Service was superb. Will visit again!

Whats a gem. Nephew introduced me to this wonderful seafood cuisine. The chef is SERIOUS with his presentations. The food was some of the tastiest meals I have had in the area. Flawless ambiance with a staff that delivers like you are family. Intimate space with maybe 9-11 tables total. WOW. I’m floored and now a regular.

Best seafood I've had on the east coast, period. Had the seafood platter. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Calamari was incredibly tender. Recently under new management and the service was great! Definitely give them a shot!
