Good.. not exceptional. Better be a garlic lover.. I am! Tomato sauce a little pasty. We both had pasta dishes... I'll give it another chance and try something else. Good spot.. try it.. you won't be unhappy.

One of our Favorite Local's hangouts. Live music, great happy hour pricing and food selection. The Lasagna is Decadent! Sit in the BarArea for the most fun. The chef/owner always comes around to say Thank you for coming in to Dine.

An excellent dinner celebrating a friends birthday. Food was delicious, portions large, service excellent and prices reasonable.

Marco and team for thirty years continues to provide excellent hospitality and delicious food. From the stuffed artichoke, which is the best in town, to the chicken parm, shrimp scampi and a daily seafood risotto special, everyone loved their meals. Attentive, thoughtful service and stops to check on us by Marco himself, in an atmosphere you can have conversation with your dining friends, made for a perfect evening. Thank you!

My husband brought me here for the first time, and I'm loving it! The ambiance is wonderful, with romantic music setting the mood. I had the seafood spaghetti and meatballs, it's authentic Italian cuisine at its finest!

The absolute best lasagna in south Florida. Love the bar area with piano and the wine room for private parties.

Opentable Diner

I included in the reservation that it was a special occasion a 70 th birthday and nothing was ever said about it. Where we sat it was very loud. Service was off took along time before we could order. Couldn't find our waiter. They did do a good job refilling water glasses which was appreciated. Vegetables that came with my chicken rollatini were cold. The chicken however was hot and very good. Overall I would say it was an off evening at the restaurant. It seemed the food was off. Person who had chicken parm felt it was very salty and side pasta nothing special. And we had pear pocket appetizer was under cooked the pasta needed to be cooked more.

We attended a special Italian Dinner & a Movie night at Café Vico, and it honestly turned into one of the best nights out we've had in years.

We arrived a little early and went to the bar, where we were greeted by a very friendly and accommodating bartender. Even though we told him we were just waiting for the event, he was nothing but warm and welcoming—offering us wine and great conversation while we waited. Excellent first impression!

Once we moved into the private room for the event, we were welcomed personally by Marco (the chef and owner), his daughter, and Marco's associate Luciano. Right away, you could feel how passionate and proud they are of what they do. Staff came around quickly with a refreshing beverage, and we knew we were in for something special.

The food was incredible—seriously next-level. From the Pane Rustico Toscana paired with Gavi di Gavi, to the creamy Risotto paired with Nebbiolo, everything was on point. Marco’s Il Timpano was absolute perfection, and the Ossobuco was rich, tender, and full of flavor. Every dish felt like it came straight from an Italian family kitchen—but elevated.

Throughout the night, Luciano led us through an Italian wine tasting that was fun, informative, and delicious. Marco shared his background and passion with each course—you could see his excitement and pride with every dish that came out. And as if that weren’t enough, we watched the classic film Big Night during dinner—a perfect match for the vibe.

What really sets Café Vico apart is the way you're treated. Even in a large space with a full house, we felt like family. Marco, his daughter, Luciano, and the entire staff exude pride, warmth, and hospitality in a way that’s rare to find.

By the end of the night, there were hugs, salutes, and a genuine sense of connection. This place is more than a restaurant—it’s an experience.

We can’t wait to go back.
Thank you, Marco!!

The red sauce was very sweet. Almost felt like somebody dropped a large bowl of sugar into the red sauce when making it. The waiter was very nice, but management should recommend that staff tells people prior to ordering that the red sauce is very sweet, I would have chosen differently. I am sure there are other items on the menu that are delicious, but I don't recommend the chicken parm.
