The lady up front is a tuff missy but if you get past the attitude the bbq is extraordinary, im raised in california family was born and raised in el paso texas so taxas bbq will always be king but let me tell you it is neck and neck also the sasage that was the only weak point for the price i was expecting two nice size links no diddy, gandmas callords fire, yams diabetic, corn bread speechless. Stopped in at Fatboy’s BBQ in Fort Lauderdale, and let me tell you—this place is exactly what you want an American BBQ joint to be. No fuss, no gimmicks, just meat, smoke, and flavor.
The smell hits you the second you walk in: hickory, oak, and possibly a whisper of “you’re about to need stretchy pants.” Portions are unapologetically huge—what they call a “plate” could feed a small family back in the UK.
