I’ve always loved Fireman Derek’s, so I was excited when the Fort Lauderdale location opened. I left a star rating during their first year but held off on writing a detailed review to give them some time to settle in. Unfortunately, even after waiting, I feel the experience falls short.

The staff seems disengaged, and the overall vibe is lacking. It’s a completely different atmosphere from what I’ve experienced at the Wynwood and Coral Gables locations,...

This review is for delivery via Door Dash. Back in town for a few months so we decided to try Fireman Derek's for that occassional sweet tooth craving. Had visited a decade ago and it was pretty awesome, but this time around via delivery, verdict more on the good but not great side of the house. One Salted Caramel Pie ( signature crack pie, lol) and 1 Carrot Cake slice and $35 later (delivery fees sure add up!) it may be awhile before doling out that amount of greenbacks...

Went in today for the first time and was blown away by the wide selection of goodies. Abby highly recommended the Key Lime Pie and she was right! It’s so delicious. I can’t wait to bring my son by after school for a treat!
