Generally I like this place. However, yesterday, something happened that will make me think twice about going to this store. I tried ordering via their app on the way there (love using the app to see all the options at my leisure) but wouldn't accept the order. OK, it was a few minutes before the app says they opened (app said 11:30, but the door says 11). Fine, system to fail from time to time. Once I got to the store went to place my order and was told their system was down and they didn't know how to take an order. They then figured out they can book a cash order and I happened to have cash on me. The system was unable to print the kitchen order, so they called it out to the cook, no problem. However, what really bothered me was while I was eating, they locked the doors only allowing customers in once told cash only. Isn't that a major fire code violation? Aren't doors to remain unlocked during business hours, especially with customers in the store? Fortunately, they had thumb locks on the inside and I was able to leave without having to call staff to the door, but in an emergency, I can see customers panicking and the results could be disastrous. Corporate/Region should update their training to protect customer safety.
