I heard that this place is run by people with disabilities.
Besides how delicious the food is (and it is), the people here are just the kindest, and the cause of the restaurant is so just and good. If you have to choose where to spend your money, choose here.
Very nice people and the food was killing me would recommend

Everyone Jewish or not has to go eat their shawarma in a pita or on a plate , try also the excellent freshly made Falafel .
Highly recommend that spot , they are also right within supporting challenged youth so
You'd participate in their noble cause going there

Authentic Israeli style shawarma is one of the hardest things to find in this country. They absolutely nail it at Friendship Grill. The food can cure antisemitism. Seriously, it is made with love and delicious beyond words. Make sure to ask for the amba sauce. It is a sweet, slightly spicy sauce made from fermented mango and several spices. You will not regret it. To be honest, it is expensive. One shawarma pita with no sides is $36. But you are right in the middle of Las Olas, and it is getting harder and harder for restaurants to survive on what people think prices should be. So do not fault them for that. Your money is also going to a genuinely good cause. Look up Chabad. Their charity is legendary worldwide, and the restaurant is directly affiliated with them. Also, Spencer did a great job taking my order today. If you want something truly unique that you cannot get just anywhere, while also supporting Israel and treating yourself to an incredible meal, go to Friendship Grill. Just do not come Friday evening.
Amazing place filled with the kindest souls.

The food was amazing but the service was really poor. We arrived close to closing time so for that, we opted for takeout. We felt treated with indifference by a unfriendly young man, when we asked questions about the menu, this sir interrupted our order to attend to an employee. When we said goodbye, he didnβt even look at us. It was truly disappointing because we went to try the food to include them in the kosher options at FLL for our customers. Finally, the prices are somewhat high ( 25$ for one shawarma and 25$ for one Schnitzel).

We went there for an event where they taught kids with disabilities to cook. I brought my son who learned to make vegan Mac and Cheese and they had a great time dancing and celebrating birthdays! The chefs and instructors were fantastic with the kids!!
