Very affordable price sometimes they do happy hours just for $25 with the Price. It’s not a bad place. Everything is fresh they always give you what you need you can eat as much as you can you just have to cook it fun if you want to spend time in a restaurant and have a conversation this is the one place you can go And you can have some experience about Korean barbecue.

Gen is hands down one of the best Korean BBQ spots I’ve been to! The quality of the meats is outstanding—especially the short ribs and steak, which were tender and flavorful. I really appreciated the excellent smoke ventilation, which kept the dining experience comfortable and enjoyable. The salad and sides were fresh and balanced the richness of the grilled meats perfectly. Overall, a fantastic place to enjoy high-quality Korean BBQ with friends and family.

LOOK AT YOUR BILL BEFORE PAYING. Service was really good, waiter was super attentive and nice. Food is a 6/10. Nothing too special but will fill your Korean bbq craving. This is a popular tourist location so people come to drink and have fun. I think because of this, they slide extra items on your bill hoping you don’t see or trust them enough because of their good service not to even look. Just my opinion but it happened to us. Our bill had $40 of additional items on it at the bottom.

I have been able to sample amazing Korean bbq places where it’s Michelin rated, and having been to almost every Korean bbq spot up and down the east coast, my experience with Korean bbq is quite extensive. I first ate here in 2023 when it just opened. May 2025 was still decent. Now it’s over all disappointing. The meats are obviously thickly cut so it will take forever to cook, then the grill is set at the lowest so you can’t order so much. The steak and meats weren’t as good as it used to be. It literally took 30 minutes to cook a pork belly. 😓
And 20 minutes for a whole steak. My entire party lost their appetite after 1 hour of cooking. We sat at 8pm and it’s almost 10pm and there’s four meats that have not been cooked.
You gotta do better Gen. Won’t be back anytime soon.

The food was great (although you cook it) but I’ve been to a few other Gen locations but this is the worst experience. Took 30 min to get a table we reserved, after we wait 20 min for our drinks to come out and our appetizers came out before the drinks. We were a party of 8 and server was needed to be flagged down multiple times just to get basic things like a refill. When the check comes out we explain we are all separate checks but refuse to split check up and makes us pay a BS required gratuity that is usually for parties of 10 or more. Service was horrible food delicious. Overall the resturant franchise is great but this one is not worth paying $45 for bad service and required tip that they don’t deserve.

I've been to Numerous Korean BBQ...Especially in Japan they are amazing...
Plenty of staff walking around but it took 15 minutes before the waiter took our drink order and too long to bring over a glass of wine and a lemonade.
Giving 1 star on food because zero stars is not available. no white rice, the waiter kept saying it was coming but after 45 minutes and finish eating still no rice.
The drinks all made with simple syrup and gross...my lemonade was nasty.
The beef had so much fat on it...the wagyu cooked into tiny little pieces.
Shame, it looked so nice from the outside but we definitely won't be going back.

First time experience and a great time. The food is absolutely delicious as well as the drinks made to a perfection quality of taste. Highly recommend this place especially if you’re looking for an amazing Korean bbq restaurant. Ty the waiter provided professional customer service with explaining how the lunch and dinner menu specials work and gave me the best recommendations to eat.
