“Went for the first time and sat at the bar. The server at the bar was great, she was very helpful. The food and drinks were amazing. The only the that was a let down was the Black Forest Cake. It looked store bought, was hoping it would be home made. Overall I would definitely go back. The Prime Rib was perfect!“

“My partner and I visited Checkers Old Munchen while on vacation to Pompano. We stumbled upon this hidden gem on accident and could not be more grateful we did! We were informed that Thursday is "ladies night," so I received half-off. Staff was accommodating, friendly and allowed us to enjoy a wonderful dinner together. The atmosphere and decor truly encompasses a German spirit. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.“

“Little hidden spot in Hallandale. The service was above and beyond. I ordered the gnocchi and they were spectacular. I was stuffed midway and wanted to keep eating them. My husband ordered the rack of lamb and they were delicious. I live an hour away. I stopped by before going to watch a show. I will definitely be back. They have a great selection of wine as well. Our waiter was so friendly. We forgot to get his name.“
“Aga is the BEST! Have a friend that lives near Edelweiss and is house bound. For her birthday Aga made sure she was delivered coffee, two pastries with a candle to wish her the very best. I live 1,200 miles away, so this was a HUGE kindness. Thank you Aga and Edelweiss for making someone's day very special. By the way , I love your pastries and breads they are delectable.“
