I had high expectations, but it didn’t quite live up to them. The bakery has a nice atmosphere and a good selection of pastries, sandwiches, and desserts, but the food was underwhelming. The bread was hard, and it wasn’t even warmed up before being served, which made the sandwich much less enjoyable.

It’s a decent spot if you’re in the area, but based on my experience, there are better bakeries and cafés in Fort Lauderdale.

What a great experience we had at Gran Forno bakery. The food is always so fresh and the staff is always so warm. I love that their breads are naturally proofed and made with no preservatives. Maurice, the owner, is always working so hard and you can tell he is extremely passionate for his business, making sure all of his customers are happy and satisfied. We make sure to always leave the bakery with at least wine fresh loaf of sourdough to go! This time, we even brought home...

Gran Forno Bakery on Las Olas Boulevard is an absolute gem. A cozy and charming spot that takes you straight to Italy the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the coffee is excellent, and the selection of fresh baked breads, pastries, focaccias and sandwiches is impressive. Everything is made on site and you can tell.
