⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ New Favorite Kava Spot in Fort Lauderdale!
Today me and my friend visited this kava bar for the first time, and it was her very first time trying kava, and let me tell you, she’s now a fan! We asked Sean, the guy working behind the bar, to make our drinks sweet, and he got it just right. Super friendly, patient, and welcoming, great customer service goes a long way, and Sean nailed it.
The vibe inside is calm, cozy, and super chill, perfect for unwinding or catching up with a friend. We sat down, sipped our kava, and chatted for a while, just enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. The decor is really nice and definitely Instagram-worthy, so don’t be surprised if you end up taking a few pics while you're there.
It’s located on a popular side of Fort Lauderdale, surrounded by great shops and restaurants, which makes it an easy stop during a day out in the area.
If I could make one suggestion, it would be to maybe add a little background music, something like soft jazz, R&B, or chill classical to match the laid-back vibe. But honestly, even without it, this place is a vibe all on its own.
I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone curious about kava or just looking for a cool, relaxed hangout. Kava has you feeling groovy in the best way!
I dont particularly like the taste of Kava but whatever they recommended made me so chill! Atmosphere is really cozy and friendly. They have cute little chihuahua hangin out there too. Had a great time with a friend there and will go again.

I came in to try the kava. I asked if it was sweetened and the woman working behind the bar said no, and that they had a kava with bananas added, naturally sweet. I tried it, it was okay, can't say I loved it.
Looks like a cool.place to hang out, work, etc.

Great overall spot except for Renan that is going to sign your card for your and add tip when he wants. Unacceptable never coming back to this location. Connor and all the other bartenders are great

Didn’t understand what kava was until recently. Actually aided with a trapped nerve in my back as a natural muscle relaxer so giving it a try more often. Kyzer was great & bingo was a fun touch

I had an amazing time! Connor was great and so was Adri. Fun atmosphere. You can tell it’s a small “hole-in-the-wall” kava bar, but that is the appeal of it. Kava was rough but strong and the teas were good. Highly recommend!
It’s really tight, and it’s so crowded at the bar that it’s difficult to order. The kava I had made me violently ill, so I won’t be back. But the people behind the bar were nice.

Kavasutra has always been a staple on las Olas in Fort Lauderdale. It's atmosphere and drinks are incomparable to any of its competitors. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. There is a constant faithful customer base and those who enter the establishment will always come back for more. The Kava and Kratom teas are the best by far in the tri-country area. I have traveled to different states and always tried Kava bars in every city I go to but not one even compares to Kavasutra. I recommend anyone visiting or locals to
come by, the familiar and welcoming you find here will make you a regular. It is by far the best place to hang out and have that bar vibe with no alcohol involved. It is truly las Olas' hidden gem located behind the legendary Floridian restaurant. See you all there!

The tea got very bad. They started making it with powder that stays on the bottom of the tea, and not brewing it with leaf. It got less strong, and you almost don’t feel the tea flavour. Also my friends who came here a lot said that they stopped coming a week ago cause the TEA CHANGED A LOT, and they DONT WANNA HAVE A POWDERED TEA, so they go to a different kava bar now.
Everyone likes the old authentic tea. And I hope this place will change the tea BACK TO FRESH.

Let me tell ya I've drank a lot of Kava, BUT none better then the Kava & Kratum from Kavasutra Las Olas. I don't know if its the bins they store it in, or the stainless steel shells they serve it in, or possibly even the way they stir it with the ladle... MY best guess is that it comes down to the bar tenders. These guys are absolute CLASS. The energy, the communication, the overall feeling of caring about your well being. The welcoming faces of the team never change, and I would encourage anyone to check the spot out to determine this for themselves. Hope everyone reading is doing well, come in and have a shell. I am a local, so see ya there!! Adri, Renan, Connor, Luis, Cassie, Candace, Kyzsor... can't go wrong with any of them :)
One Love,
Jason
