Kuro (in Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood)

Kuro is truly a best-in-class restaurant where I had an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, our server Jeremy made us feel right at home with a warm welcome and attentive service that lasted throughout the evening.

Jeremy’s professionalism, knowledge of the menu, and polite demeanor were greatly appreciated. He provided excellent food recommendations, and every dish we tried was exceptional. The Chilean Sea Bass and Crispy Tuna in particular were standouts — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

Dining at Kuru is an experience worth every penny. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for top-tier food, outstanding service, and a memorable night out.

Kuro has the most immaculate fish, fresh, tender, dressed to perfection. The nigiri needed no alterations or soy sauce, everything was intricately and intentionally made. David curated an exceptional tasting menu and was very knowledgeable about each and every dish. Chef Jin was very hospitable and provided the utmost enjoyable experience. The beef short rib was tender and melted in your mouth. Star of the show was the seafood soup, the broth hugged your stomach and tasted so flavorful and comforting. 10/10 all in all!

We have tried all the high end Japanese restaurants out there (Nobu, Zuma, Sen Sakana, etc).

Kuro is our favorite. By far.

Highlights include:
- crispy rice (pictured)
- wagyu tacos (2 per order)
- tuna + avocado maki
- spicy salmon maki

House roll is great too. Although lately we have preferred the basics over anything crazy.

Skipped alcohol this visit, but always love a libation from the cocktail menu at Kuro.

This menu has limitless possibilities to meet your evening - big baller, quick apps, healthy or indulgent.

Great ambiance and decor. Standing by the host stand before we dine is an extra delight because of the seashell wall.

Super excited to return for another fun night and delicious meal.

Wally was an absolute amazing sever and the sushi at the establishment was so fresh and amazing and by far the best sushi I’ve ever tasted and would come back for the sushi and the wonderful sever I’ve experienced.

Started off at the bar with Chuti and a top tier expresso martini! She really set the mood for the night to start off right with her fabulous drinks and personality! We headed over to sushi bar and the experience was one of the best I have ever had, from the food to the service everything was amazing. Mickey is such a wonderful sushi chef with amazing attention to detail. I would highly recommend checking out Kuro, you won’t be disappointed! If I could give 100 stars I would!

KURO at the Hard Rock is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the experience was flawless. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor—truly a testament to the chef’s skill and dedication. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection and full of creativity.

Our waiter Richard provided impeccable service, attentive without being intrusive, making us feel welcome and cared for throughout the meal. The entire staff clearly takes pride in creating a top-notch dining experience.

I had an amazing experience at Kuro. Our bartender Nikki took such great care of us, she was attentive, friendly, and made the night special.

The food was outstanding. I recommend the Wagyu Tacos, Kanpachi, Short Rib, and Tuna Crispy Rice. The Ni cocktail was perfectly balanced and refreshing.

From the host ladies, very attentive and friendly. Service very knowledgeable and the food was well coursed served. Food just great! Crispy rice, seared salmon sashimi, wagyu tacos, Brussels sporuts, king crab tempura, veggie tempura, sea bass miso tienes que probarlo, beef negima, ribeye miso. And sushi and sashimi extremely fresh!

I had tons of sushi in my life and this place hands down is the best sushi I’ve ever had. It was very fresh and the server gave us great recommendations. Paired very well with the Sake. Highly recommend!
