What the hell happened to this place? This used to be a favorite vacation lunch spot so when I flew in today, that was my first stop. I used to order the chicken crepe which had a creamy béchamel sauce topped with grated Parmesan cheese. What I received was a gloppy sauce over a grilled chicken breast suffocated in southwest seasoning and very little Parmesan cheese to be found. When the owner/manager asked me how if everything was okay, I couldn’t lie so I gave my opinion. His response was, “Well, we are closing for good in two weeks so it won’t be a problem”. That was the silver lining to this dark cloudy icky lunch.

We decided to celebrate my wife's birthday with breakfast at LBC Las Olas, drawn by its reputation and location. While the staff greeted us with friendliness, the food experience did not meet our expectations. Both of us found the dishes to be just okay, with the flavors not impressing us as much as we had hoped. Moreover, after our food was served, we noticed a lack of attentiveness from the staff. There wasn't a check-in to see how we were enjoying our meal or if we needed anything else, which is something we've come to appreciate in dining experiences. This lack of follow-up continued until well after we had finished our meals, leading to a point where I had to signal for the check to wrap up our visit. While the ambiance of LBC Las Olas is inviting, and the staff initially seemed friendly, the overall dining experience left us wanting in terms of both culinary delight and service.

Can't rate the food because I was denied placing an order to go when I waked in. Oh well this is strictly service

French onion soup excellent, Classic Burger, good Blue cheese burger, good We had to request menus and bread, even though there was only one other table occupied. I ordered water, while my boyfriend opted for a beer. However, the bottle was broken, seemingly from a twist-off cap. He didn't realize until he inadvertently ingested a piece of glass while taking a sip of the Coors Lite bottle. In shock, he spat out the beer along with the broken glass and blood. Despite witnessing the incident, the server had the audacity to suggest that he intentionally tried to consume the bottle. Astonishingly, the server showed no concern for my boyfriend's well-being or offered any assistance. We didn't request the beer to be removed from the bill, and they didn't offer to do so either.

Love the vibes, especially the outdoor seating. Breakfast crepe was good but not great.

My wife and I have dined there for nearly 20 years. First Rene went back to Montreal. Then the menu reduced. Now the crepes are a disappointment. Things change and so will we. So long LBC.

Food was excellent. My wife and I both had crepes. Service was slow. Probably short of help during Sunday brunch. The ambiance was tired. Could use a refreshing. We would return. Prices were fair.

Their prosciutto is so good. I recommend trying the strawberry basil martini as a light cocktail. It is a little expensive but it is worth it.

A great French restaurant with creative dishes and finesse hard to find on Las Olas Blvd.
