As a older adult, I enjoy going to this establishment very much. There is a nice mixture of ages and demographics, and everybody is very sweet. The owner Mark, his GM Fayna and his staff are very accommodating and helped me learn about the different botanical drink options and since I’ve been going there, my health has improved (i believe it’s due to their recommendations).
I prefer holistic and natural approachsto my well-being, and I have become a regular of Leaves and Roots. I have also recommended them to my friends and family.

Trendy hideaway on an alley. A comfortable lounge with couches, video games, a few high tables, and a bar. It also has a pool room. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. They have a limited menu, and I almost busted out laughing and walked out when I found out that all their food is prepackaged frozen food that they heat-up in several air fryers they have at the bar, but I was hungry and didn't feel like trying to find another vegan place. The food was OK, what you would expect from frozen food. Didn't have anything to drink cause I was disappointed by the food.I'd go back to try their drinks and hang out in their video game lounge or pool room.Parking: Few parking spots in the alleyway.Kid-friendliness: It's not a kids kind of place.

When we arrived, most of the seats at the bar were filled with laptops(?) with few people in sight- the only other patrons seemed to be a handful of gamer dudes.The cashier was friendly and explained what kava and krater were to us.I appreciate that they have vegan snacks here but they’re frozen items that are heated up, resold for a heavy markup, and actively taste bad (we had the pizza and chicken nuggets).Two stars for having all vegan food (yay!), my husband enjoying the kratom, and the nice cashier but I otherwise don’t have anything positive to say about this place.
