As a older adult, I enjoy going to this establishment very much. There is a nice mixture of ages and demographics, and everybody is very sweet. The owner Mark, his GM Fayna and his staff are very accommodating and helped me learn about the different botanical drink options and since I’ve been going there, my health has improved (i believe it’s due to their recommendations).

Leaves and Roots Lounge is my home away from home. There are many botanical bars in Fort Lauderdale and I am from St. Petersburg, where there are even more… the owner Mark, his GM Lauren and their staff are the best in Florida. The crew there treats their customers like family and the space is cozy, calm, and inviting in the afternoons. The best kava spot near downtown Lauderdale hands down. I’m biased because I do DJ events there but the space is sick and the drinks are fire. Great spot, great staff, great kava! 5 star ethnobotanical experience.
Leaves & Roots - Kava Bar & Vegan Cafe is a great place with some of the best Kava around. The Kavatenders are the best in the business, with superb drinks and a welcoming atmosphere. The service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is extremely relaxing. The Kavatender is so nice, greets everyone with a smile, and always puts off amazing vibes. Guests never have to wait for a drink. The bar is dog friendly and has two pool tables in the back separated in a room so the sound isn't disturbing. There is a vegan menu. Vegetarian options are available. The best option in the immediate Fort Lauderdale area and the best kava bar so far. A must visit for sure.
