Mamajuana Cafe Fort Lauderdale

Mamajuana Cafe is simply outstanding! We debated between so many delicious dishes and realized they are all fantastic. I will dream about the Mofongo. The Linguine Mariscada and Salmon Relleno were phenomenal, too. Our server, Julie, was so welcoming and helped with some dish recommendations. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

The food is delicious. Both mofongo and sushi rolls were delicious. Atmosphere is nice, the service was okay. I highly recommend the yuca fongo and mamajuana rolls. They were flavorful! I would definitely come back!

Celebrated my birthday here 10/10. It was a pretty slow night despite that we still had great time Juli went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience! Food was bomb and the music was amazing! Again Juli did a great job and this place is lucky to have someone like her! Because of her we will be coming back !

Julie was absolutely breathtaking. Her personality and hospitality is one of a kind. The service is great and I am not exaggerating either. I definitely be coming back to dine and eat. The food here was amazing and there drinks.?

JULIE WAS A 10/10! loved her service and energy. She welcomed us with jokes and laughter. I couldn’t recommend her more. Definitely try their mojitos! I loved the passion fruit in particular!

We dined at this restaurant on Saturday night August 12. I had the fried snapper and my husband had the palamino steak. The food and service were amazing. They had a 9 piece live band lead by JCee Colon and they played salsa music. We got to eat great food , dance and had a wonderful night out. There were a lot of people , a very nice crowd of people who enjoyed dancing and partying in a festive atmosphere. We will definitely be going back for more.

My friends and I decide to go out on this thursday night, we wanted a nice vibe and good food so we found this place on tik tok; we were excited mostly from the online menu/reviews and stayed because of the great service from Julissa!! We ordered some appetizers, sushi rolls, and alcoholic drinks; we got to try a little bit of everything. The layout of the restaurant was very nice, Julissa’s recommendations for food and drinks were phenomenal!! We will be back and bring more friends to get the same experience.

Arrived and we were sat immediately on a Saturday around 715 pm. Place was pretty empty. I think about 5 to 6 tables were occupied. (Should have been the first clue this place was not going to be good.) Ordered drinks including makers mark on the rocks, which was watered down with lots of cubed ice. Horrible! A girl came over to take our pictures and said was not for social media as we asked. The came later with said pictures on frames to purchase at $20 each. We felt bad and got 2. Ordered mofoguitos, chico (goat) and their mamajuana roll. Mofoguitos were dry and the protein flavors were okay. Chivo had lots of small bones and flavor lacked. The roll was decent but not enough for us to go back. We took a creme brule home and it was a joke. It was like having store bought vanilla PUDDING. Not caramelized and horrible. We tossed it after tasting it. So not worth the "hype".

This place is super fun with a great atmosphere. There are a lot of chairs inside and out with also a place in the corner for live music.The food here is amazing and tasty! We had the Chicharroncitos, Aguacate Majao, and Mamajuana Roll. Yum! For drinks we got the Jack Punch, and the Bachata Rose.

This place was absolutely delicious! I didn’t have to wait long for the food , everything was hot and fresh ! The server was very polite and patient! Definitely going again. I wish they stayed opened later , after 10 I believe it turns into a little club atmosphere , good music , great vibes !

Was skeptical about trying this place cause the reviews for the Tampa location weren't so great but was in Fort Lauderdale and figure just try it. Well definitely was not disappointed. Everything was good and had good flavor.

First time going there and didn't know this lil HOLE IN THE WALL was right in our back yard in Broward County! I ordered the Mamajuana Burger with the egg, and I've had burgers in other restaurants and this had to be one of the BEST burgers I have tasted!!! Also had the Sushi Rolls along with the Plaintain chips with Fried Cheese and Guac Dip along with the Mango Mojíto.Definitely will be going back!

I’m always looking for me new places to have brunch with my friends, and my only two criteria are good food and a good atmosphere, both were achieved here. They even had a good mix of music played by the DJ.Since I have been craving Mofongo, this restaurant was on my list of places to check out. I had the Shrimp and Lobster Mofongo and it was amazing. I honestly felt so guilty eating the whole plate. But I could not stop. The service was excellent and I will be back.

Excellent service and food. The Margaritas were strong and Paella was amazing. My teenage son had the Churrasco and couldn’t finish it. Our server Vanessa was extremely attentive. Highly recommended.
