The mushroom zen bowl was AMAZING! The shiitake protein they use in it is incredible I am so sad they do not sell it in grocery stores near me. Moxies’ menu had plenty of vegan options. Updated from previous review on 2026-07-13

First time ever going on Father's Day. Great vibe and food. Customer service was amazing.

Very beautiful restaurant. The 1lb nachos were the best we've had during our stay in FL. The toffee pudding was recommended by our server and it was great 👍🏾

I would like to share feedback regarding a recent experience at Moxie that left me feeling uncomfortable and offended.

I am a person of color, and during my visit I ordered a simple cocktail—a Kamikaze. The waitress initially took my order but later returned and informed me that the bar did not serve that drink. During the conversation, she also mentioned that the establishment did not serve Hennessy and certain other alcoholic beverages.

What made the interaction concerning was that no one in my party had ordered or asked about Hennessy. As a result, I was left wondering why it was mentioned at all. Given the longstanding stereotypes that often associate certain alcoholic beverages, including Hennessy, with persons of color, the comment felt unnecessary and out of place.

To be clear, I do not know the intent behind the statement, and I do not hold the waitress personally responsible, as she appeared to be relaying information from the bar. However, the inclusion of alcohol that no one had requested created the impression that assumptions were being made, which was uncomfortable and offensive to me as a customer.

Because of the interaction, my party and I decided to leave the establishment after explaining our concerns. I later spoke with the manager, who listened respectfully and appeared to understand why the situation was troubling. She offered a gift card, which I politely declined.

I am sharing this feedback not to seek compensation, but because I believe it is important to understand how comments that may seem harmless can be perceived by customers. When products associated with racial or cultural stereotypes are brought into a conversation without being requested, it can create the impression that guests are being viewed through the lens of those stereotypes rather than simply as customers.

I hope this feedback is received in the spirit in which it is intended: to encourage awareness and ensure that all guests feel welcomed, respected, and free from assumptions based on race or cultural stereotypes.

We picked this place because it’s a beautiful restaurant especially walking by curbside appeal is fantastic. There’s an upstairs area you can eat inside or outside. We prefer the outside area because it’s beautiful. It looked like a very nice restaurant. As it turns out it’s bar food and they don’t know what they’re doing. They have little kids as servers for the most part. Our waitress was nice and friendly, but young we had to ask for every single thing you would think they would’ve done this before people need salt and pepper. They need sugar you need milk for your coffee. Any ketchup if you’re eating eggs, you need butter for your toast I had to ask for every single thing. Our daughter ordered the kids breakfast. It came with jalapeño sausage. She’s five years old. It’s a good thing I caught that it was spicy for me. It would’ve burned her mouth. I mentioned it to the manager, and she didn’t seem to care. They serve your orange juice with ice, which is strange normally that happens on a plane. The avocado toast was disgusting. They kept referring to the kitchen as the chef but I don’t believe they have a chef in there. No one could be this incompetent. They need to get their act together because they competition does a good job around the corner every single time this was the first and last time we will attend this restaurant. This is the place to bring your family for breakfast. This is a bar and they serve bar food. They were trying to serve breakfast, but it just didn’t work. It’s a beautiful restaurant. I’ll give it five stars for that put everything else needs to be fixed. Seriously I was trying to like this place. I just got stressed out when every single thing had to be requested.

My daughter and I made reservations for brunch on Saturday at 1:00 PM and were looking forward to our visit. Unfortunately, after being seated, we waited over 20 minutes without a server coming to our table.

A staff member eventually approached us and said a server would be with us in two minutes, but after waiting even longer with no service, we decided to leave. What made the experience even more disappointing was seeing several servers standing around talking while guests were waiting to be attended to.

We chose your restaurant because of its reputation and were excited to enjoy brunch together, so this experience was very frustrating and disappointing. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that it can be addressed to improve service for future guests.

Sophisticated establishment. Fortunate to sit upstairs and be served by the wonderful server Jasmine. This was an excellent treat for two departing missionaries. One couldn’t believe how tender the steak was. The mocktails were sipped up in “no time.”
