Average at best Chinese food. They use cheap ingredients and the food does not taste fresh. Have tried multiple dishes and soups but the food is not authentic and not good, period.
Will not go back anymore.
Too bad because I lived near this place. Hard to find good Chinese in the area.

I was disappointed in the food, I ordered door dash and ordered pork friend rice and dumpling soup,
The soup had zero flavor, just tasted like water with dough dumplings floating in it. They used sooooo much dough on their dumplings with a quarter size of meat inside the soup that wasn't worth it at all.
The rice same thing no flavor, and they didn't include any salt or pepper, just a lot of soy sauce and suck sauce.
The rice was a bit hard and crunch, and soy sauce didn't fix the issue ither. Won't recommend eating here.

I often get take out at New Hong Kong Chinese restaurant in Fort Lauderdale and am always thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. Recently I dined in and the food was even better. Nothing fancy about the interior or presentation, just good food.
The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of America Chinese dishes to choose from. Everything was freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. I especially enjoy the General Tso's chicken, pork lo mein, and steamed dumplings. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable.
Overall, I would highly recommend New Hong Kong Chinese restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Chinese cuisine in Fort Lauderdale. I will definitely continue being a customer to try more of their dishes in the future.

I got the orange chicken and it tasted like cardboard. I spent $17 for a meal. It was not worth $17. The atmosphere is terrible. There’s a women who is yelling in Chinese over the phone. Do not go here

Craving a quick taste of China? Look elsewhere! New Hong Kong Chinese offers a fast-food experience that's anything but delightful. The greasy orange chicken tasted suspiciously like cardboard dipped in sweet and sour despair. The "fried rice" was a beige clump of sadness with a few sad peas thrown in for good measure.
The service was equally uninspired. The staff seemed more interested in their phones than taking orders, and my fortune cookie offered the profound wisdom of "Try a different restaurant next time." A piece of advice I heartily endorse!
New Hong Kong Chinese is a place to avoid. Save your money and your taste buds by heading elsewhere for your Chinese food fix.
They suck in the tourists due to the cruise ships!
Horrible overpriced garbage food

We get takeout from here all the time. We love them! I have never gotten a wrong order. If they delivered it would be even better. It would also be nice if they were an eat in place.
